Stay home and rent SHADOW OF THE VAMPIRE.

Great movie. Actually gave Dracula some humanity this instead of the stiffness told in other movies. A decent love story, great actors and at least drew on "some" history of how the Dracula / vampire legend started.

This was a beautiful movie. A new twist on the story of Dracula's life.

Innocent and very simple: a perfect family movie. The pictures, designs and actors are beautiful. This is unfaithful to the true story and resembles more a fairy tale, but is well done in it's own way. The movie is short and without filler, perfect for the busy people with little time on their hands.

Okay retelling of the origin of the master vampire. Could have been better by having more than one character (Dracula) developed a bit more. Fun but nothing special.

LOVED the movie, They put a new spin on the story, and the cast was perfect.

The only thing missing was Keanu Reeves.

Loved it! Hope they make a second one

I agree with those reviewers that say it could have been so much better. It definitely could. But, it kept us entertained throughout. It didn't drag at any point. Like some superhero movies or TV shows, I felt Vlad's mastery of his newfound powers can far too quickly, and his ability to control the weather (to block out the sun - wow!) maybe pushed things a bit too far. I'll tell you one thing: I enjoyed it WAY more than any Transformers movie, and they keep making money and sequels. Go figure. I hope Dracula Untold makes enough $$$ that they produce a more solid sequel.

This movie could be so much better. Lots of potentisl, lots of ups and downs.. Best acting scene Luke Evans and Charles Dance, worst acting scene Dominic Cooper and ..Luke Evans, the last fight. Good entertainment for people who like the genre..one thing, Vlad the Impaler, the romanian prince tries hard to get historical justice in tbis film.

Anybody who likes this movie also has unquestioned love for french fries soaked in ketchup.

I went in there without much expectations, seen too many similar movies with plots serve at best to kill time. Surprisingly, the acting was great Evans delivers, story enough to grip you and the action sequence decent. Good movie!

Great performances took us into their world as if we were there. Luke Evans is perfect as Vlad who is by far a great father and husband who stood by his family and kingdom at all costs which is most admirable....

Luke Evans delivered and lead this film well and got the job done. My family loved this movie immensely! Left us wanting to see more.... There was enough to satisfy our hunger for the story of Vlad and his beloved family and country.....

Boring movie -his wife and kid constantly whinging and totally annoying and just all around a total drag. An hour and half I will never get back. Save your money

THIS MOVIE HAD LOTS OF POTENTIAL, HOWEVER THE RIDICULOUS FIGHT SCENES WAS A REAL TURN OFF FOR ME...

Really enjoyed this movie from start to finish.....

I am not usually a fan of these types of movies, but I tagged along with a friend and really enjoyed it. There is just the right balance of action, horror and feel-good romance to make the movie enjoyable. It's not too scary, but it keeps you on your seat. Even if you don't like movies about monsters I think you'll enjoy this flick. I compare it to the movie Van Helsing which I also liked even though I don't normally like monster/gothic movies.

I really liked it so did my brother. This was the best Dracula movie so far.

Amazing movie!!! Very nice twist of the real history, yet so nicely told and acted! I would definitely recommend it! The nicest one that I have seen for a while!

The movie was great was great. Acting and action were excellent. Defintely a different take on Vlad the Impaler's story. IF anything the movie was to short, but I like that they ledft it open to a sequel.
