Edge of Tomorrow

I'm not always the biggest fan of Tom Cruise, but this movie was well done. I highly enjoyed it, worth seeing in theatres.

It was different than I expected from the trailers, but in a good way. Had good action scenes, and humour. A fun movie to see.

It was a good action packed film that had lots of comical relief. Guys who love fight scenes and war films will especially love this film. It was nice to see Emily Blunt in a different genre than she is typically in. This film showed the vast array of characters she can play.

Movie didn't catch the viewers attention from the beginning. It could be much stronger. But slowly it becomes more and more interesting. I really enjoyed watching it. No doubt, it is made professionally. I loved effects.

I found the movie rather silly and ridiculous. Tom Cruise is getting a little long in the tooth to be an action hero. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely could have been better.

Tom Cruise is getting a bit beyond these types of Big Bang films though he totally commits to the role.

This movie was fantastic. Loved the bits of of of comedy but pure action.

The action sequences were good but the story was a bit confusing and the ending was just bad in that it didn't explain anything of why it ended at that point.

Director Doug Liman(Mr. and Mrs. Smith) delivered the goods once again with this futuristic-High tech drama with a good melange of humor. Reminiscent of the movie Ground Hog day, this Science fiction thriller is the tale of a soldier battling Aliens who have ravaged the entire Earth. He relives the same day over and over and dies at the end of each day. With the help of a colleague, brilliantly played by Emily Blunt, Cruise learns a lot in the process Good performances by Tom Cruise and Bill Paxton as well. I recommend this movie for all.

What a ride! Emily Blunt never disappoints. Her ripped body, dry humor and physicality matched Cruise one for one - at least! We laughed so many unexpected times, and smiled with the always predictable Tom components: the running scene, the racing motorcycle scene, and yes, the kiss! While we were captured by the action and design of the 'kill machines', we laughed so many times that it was a fun night overall! Buy your popcorn and big drink and be prepared for a fun trip!

Edge of Tomorrow is a nearly-perfect summer sic-fi movie. It has excellent effects (the best 3D I've seen in a while), action, heroes to root for, and even laughs. I loved the strong female butt-kicker! My only critique is that it borrows heavily from other films of the genre... But if you like this genre, that's not necessarily a negative!

Tom Cruise has reached the point in his career where he is in on the joke, meaning he doesn't take himself too seriously. Emily Blunt was amazing, I wouldn't be surprised to see her in more action roles in the future. This movie is almost flawless (it woke up like that). Go. See. Repeat.

It was fun, fast paced and funny. Everything you expect from a movie like this. The acting, directing and 3d were first rate. I would definately recommend Edge of tomorrow.

Darryl - This movie belongs wholeheartedly to Tom Cruise. I've always been intrigued by the way Cruise always connects with the audience by putting himself in their shoes. It's an outrageous action-packed thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Recommend 3D.

Suprisingly good movie with excellent performances by Cruise and Blunt. Good story arc and character development. Strong action sequences and a good dose of humor all make the film a worth summer must see. Not the stale clichéd sci fi pic I expected.
