Bad movie, waste of time and money!!!

OMG - best part about this movie was when it was over.

Tension-filled drama asks it's audience one compelling question: How far would you go to save your planet from alien invasion? A film that is sure to provoke discussion after screenings. 5/5

Great special effects plus who doesn't like movies about aliens? I do!

Fun if you turn your brain off. The original was good dumb but this is bad dumb. The things it gets right is equally balanced by the things it gets wrong. Believe it or not, best Emmerich film since the original in 1996, at least this isn't as bad as everything he did in between.

All the new actors today are the same, all got into the businesses threw family connections...They have no personality or acting ability...its sad. I miss all the older ones.

Clearly a desperate cash grab, the movie is full of forgettable characters that the audience could not care less about, half of which do nothing to advance the plot; and all of which drone out their lines like they are reading from a teleprompter. The CGI is good, everything else about the movie is garbage.

Impressive! Never before has the motion picture screen projected a film of such massive size and scale! This is a game changer, people. End of story.

Hands down the BEST alien invasion film since Battleship! Genuinely involving characters and spectacular special effects make this a must-see for all fans of serious sci-fi!

It was ok, not as good as the first original movie. The story line was all over the place, sometimes it was hard to follow what was going on, they tried to put too much into it. Not worth rushig out to see for sure!

We paid extra to see this movie in 3D IMAX. That was why we stayed longer than ten minutes. Worst piece of drivel I have seen in a long time, the sort of thing that makes Steven Seagal movies look like Oscar contenders. Huge plot holes, abysmal script, the actors look bored or in pain, or as if they showed up on a movie set that that was not what they thought it would be. Even after spending thirty tee dollars we still walked out. The most intelligent thing onscreen in this movie is Brent Spiner`s butt crack.

I loved it can't wait till part 3...lots of action...as good as the first one...i was on the edge of my seatnthe whole time...

Absolutely thrilling sequel to one of the most seminal sci-fi films ever made. Even more daring and complex than the original. Everyone on the planet should see this one as it's really about our world and the unity of same. 5/5

I will give it one star for the grafics, the popcorn was better than the show

A waste of time and money...

First one was better. Not sure if it was meant to be a comedy or just totally escapism. Got really silly with alien species. All in all, entertaining. Not as bad as some other recent stuff.

Movie was good, went buy fast, Story was ok, FX was great. Switch of your brain and enjoy basically.
