Mr. Holmes

Subtle plot, but well worth watching it unfold. High quality acting with excellent dialogue. Very enjoyable movie.

Boring, cliche, uncomfortable, uninteresting; a shame to the Sherlock Holmes namesake.

Excellent movie. Thoughtful portrayal of an elderly gentleman dealing with his past triumphs ,and his cognitive powers now becoming suspect. Still as he purses his trade he as moments of success.

Enjoyed the acting if not the subject matter.

Good acting but the story is a non event, basically a waste of 2 hours of you life to suffer this. I generally like UK movies but this is BAB.

Slow in parts, a good rental

Really loved this film. Great story and acting by everyone. Beautiful cinematography. Ian McKellen deserves an Oscar nomination he is that good in this. I will be purchasing the bluray. By far one of the best films of the year so far.
