the parts of extreme sports are fun to watch,
I did start out with some excitement but became drawn out...
A lot of "fake posters" trying to pump this movie up.
Awful! Just awful ! Smh
The fact that this movies has 4 stars is shocking. It is simply awful. Watch it if you want but I would bet you come to the same conclusion. Do yourself a favor and watch the original it too is kind of crap but it looks like an oscar winner next to this remake.
ok movie, stupid story
Great!!! Awesome movie!!!
When I first heard that they were remaking this movie, I wasn't surprised, they remake everything these days. The original movie wasn't great, but it worked because it was the beginning of the 90's, and had a good cast and somehow the cheese worked. I even grew my hair out because of that flic. However, the remake of this just makes me want to weep. Are we that bankrupt in original ideas? The director should be ashamed, and slapped in the face repeatedly with a sock full of wet sh*t. He took a cheesy movie that worked because it was campy, and he removed that element which left nothing. This is the most empty, soul destroying piece of sh*t I have ever seen, and I feel as if I want my money back despite the fact that I downloaded it for free - yes, it was that bad.
garbage
My review will not be accepted as it is not nice
i loved it
I really liked this one! wasn't expecting it to be so good. Was on the edge of my seat most of the time. Great scenery and cinematography!
I totally enjoyed the action. Only wished they tied the giving back a bit better to each stunt. I liked how they kept some old elemnts and made new stuff. 100% Utah!
Point Break is an amazing and awe-inspiring movie. It is the coming together of the magnificence of planet Earth and the strength and discipline of the human body and the human spirit, and it's the ultimate expression of choice and consequence and the personal responsibility we each must take for our own path and evolution. It's a spiritual action movie...a genre of its own...and an absolute must see for lovers of nature/planet earth and extreme sports.
Edgar Ramirez is awesome!
I love Edgar Ramirez!! great actor!
Really bad, waste of money........3D is terrible, adds no value to the movie
The 3D in this movie is what kills this move, waste of money I will wait for DVDs to rewatch this as theatres only offer 3D
Disappointed. This remake falls flat. Stupid ending. Don't waist your money.
So extreme! Seen it ten times already and goin' back for more!
2 Hour Mountain Dew Commercial filmed with a Go-Pro. They somehow took a dumb movie and remade it to be even more dumb.
This movie was awesome! The scenery and cinematography were superb. Excellent visuals!!! I enjoyed this one better than the first!!! Such a good action movie!!!!!
Wanna see a sequel so bad! 5/5
What a ride!
This movie was really an hour plus "Go Pro" commercial, nice scenery in the movie. The original movie was superior when compared to this attempt. The story line this time around was all over the map, and the acting was poor. There wasn't a sequence in the movie, which could be imagined as believable. Save your money and time.......
looks great...cannot wait to see it...loved the original.
Faster and brainier than any of the Fast and Furious pictures!
There was a line around the block when we got to the theater; I thought it was for Star Wars but it was for Point Break! I'd get there early if you want to be sure you get a seat...
We won't see a better action movie all year.
An insult to fans of the iconic original.
"Better than the original?!" Give your head a shake -- the original Point Break is the greatest movie ever made, while this tepid remake will be quickly and justly forgotten.
White knuckled ride....very intense action I think it was better than the original...
Lots of action, high energy, beautiful scenery; not a bad movie. But in terms of acting and casting, it is no comparison to Reeves and late Swayze.
Couldn't conceive how they could improve on the original, but they did! 5/5
Why can't they leave the classics alone?
Movie of the year.
Why can't they leave the classics alone???
