The Age of Adaline

'Age of Adaline' is a charming fantasy romance with solid performances by all of the actors and actresses involved. The only aspect I really disliked about the movie was the heavy-handed voiceover narration at the beginning, end and throughout the movie. The off screen explanation does a disservice to the movie and movie-goers. I didn't feel there was a need to explain what happened to Adaline. The audience should be allowed to suspend their disbelief and enjoy the performance.

Really enjoyed the movie. Writing and acting was spectacular and the costumes were amazing.

It was a wonderful and touching movie. I even cried during parts of the show. I love this movie and am going to tell my friends to go and see this.... Love it!

I throughly enjoyed the age of Adaline. It brings to mind my younger days and if only we didn't have to age what a bonus that would be. With movies like that romance isn't dead. Bring more movies to the big screen that are so enjoyable.

Really enjoyed the movie. The concept of "never growing old" is a dream of everyone, however, the movie also shows the downside if everyone you know grows old at the natural rate. I plan to see this movie again, with friends!!

This movie has lots of promise with an intriguing and unusual story line. The plot includes a love story – or rather a few love stories – but takes its time getting there. It is a very slow moving movie and at times it dragged. The voice over narration at the beginning went on too long and became a little annoying. Similarly, the narration at the end was unnecessary. Viewers could have figured out what was going on without it. After all, it is a movie, not an audio book. It is a movie that looks good and has some interesting twists, but overall does not have the emotional pull it was probably meant to have. A refreshing romance movie

Age of Adaline, is a harrowing tale of a woman on the run from her life literally. She has a accident early on that renders her ageless.. Until she meets someone who changes everything and a new life begins? In all her beauty and glory Blake Lively with astound and captivate you through the whole movie.

Enjoyed the movie and especially liked the costumes.

My friend and I really enjoyed this movie and would highly recommend it to our male and female friends. I think the acting was extremely good and the storyline kept your attention.

Blake Lively's calming voice & demeanor was a joy to watch & she fit into her role like a glove. Michiel Huisman kept reminding me of Shia LaBeouf & it was distracting. The storyline was somewhat weak & as the story progressed, the ending was predictable & uneventful. At least the movie was visually engrossing & the costume choices were fitting. I liked to movie and acting but did not much care for the "Twilight Zone" type narration sometimes things are better left to the viewers imagination.

Before the movie I thought it would be a total chick flick but was i wrong. It has a great story line which is delightfully executed by Blake Lively. It keeps up the pace and you are engaged in the story, you feel for both of them. When Harrison Ford's character enters you get a very strong and real connection between him and Adaline. Cinematography is awesome as well as all the sets and customs. Overall a great movie and would definitely recommend you to watch it!

Thank you so much giving to see this beautiful movie one day before release. I enjoyed so much with my friend. Even though it's not a new idea, the director handled it well and present it very emotion appeal. Adaline is beautiful and elegant and the guys are handsome, charm and sweet

The movie was enjoyable but light not a lot of depth to the movie. I liked the story line wish they could have shown more of the plot with Harrison Ford. He was actually one of the stronger characters.

Beautiful story with excellent character development. Adaline's entire character was portrayed in everything she did, wore, and ate. The attention to detail was incredible and each moment was caught in time. I recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for a true romance movie with its moments of realism in the obvious.

The movie was enjoyable at times, and definitely had an interesting premise. However, there was a lack of chemistry between the two main characters, and many unanswered questions in the narrative. The acting was also not particularly strong, although I did enjoy seeing Harrison Ford in his role.

I found this a very enjoyable movie. The idea that this experience could "possibly" happen to someone is an interesting concept. One can imagine all the experiences a person would have throughout an eternity of living, but it's also sad about the emotional experiences to be missed out on if you had to conceal yourself. Still, would recommend this movie to others to see.

I thought this was a really great movie that held your interest from beginning to end. You go into the film thinking how wonderful to never lose your youth to recognizing the perils of everyone else aging around you. There is a sense of suspense in wondering if Adaline will ever find happiness.

The movie was wonderful, good story and cast, only regrettable the ending was a bit rush. But understandable due to the time frame. I'll definitely recommend family and friends to watch.

Even though I am a female and enjoy watching romantic movies, I was surprised that I would enjoy the movie as much as I did. While the theme of eternal youth is not an original concept for a movie, the writers were able to make the Age of Adaline interesting, romantic, and most importantly, enjoyable, especially the chemistry between the two main actors, Blake Lively and Michiel Huisman. I had some good laughs and had my heart strings tugged at all the right places. I can confidently say that it's a romantic movie that both women and men can enjoy. I would recommend watching this movie, whether you are a hopeless romantic or not.

My husband and I loved the movie. Best date night movie! It was the best movie yet, fantastic! We loved how the movie went back to the earlier years and to the current time. Would be wonderful if we could all stay young forever! Lots of good history and hardships but everyone kept strong and kept going. Great movie you have to see! The story line was very different than most movies I've seen. You had to be very aware of what was going on in Adaline's mind, was she imagining all these things or really mad? I liked the suspense of what was happening in the movie and the acting was very good. I hadn't seen these two actors before. A must see movie and I would recommend to my friends!
