Lord of the Rings is a great trilogy in books, Peter Jackson and everyone else involved did a great job bringing the book to life. In the books I really feel like I am a part of the adventure, and I also feel like that when I watch the movie. When I first saw the movie, I was surprised, its exactly how I pictured Hobbiton, The Prancing Pony, and everywhere else. It`s a wonderful story..I suggest anyone who hasn`t at least read the books, should. And not just the trilogy, any book by J.R.R. Tolkien, amazing author he is.

It has been a long time since I would have called any film an Epic, however this applies to this movie. A faithful translation of a complex book to the silver screen. Inspired filmmaking and storytelling a must for fans of the genre.

After reading The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, We fell in love with the story. Then when we saw the Movie the love and admiration was taken to a whole other level. The movie with it`s fantastic scenery and excellent actors left us longing for the next two installments. Well Done Peter Jackson, you have made LOTR addicts out of us. No complaints what so ever. !!!!!!!!!!!!

this movie was awesome in itself but a lot of the story was left out. so for those of u who r complaining it was to long, if the whole story was there it would have been a lot longer and i think a lot better and more complete. and if you think the ending left you hanging, it was suppossed too! it`s a trilogy!!!!!!!!!that was pretty much how the book ends except that the movie ends after the 1st chapter in the second book i can`t wait for the second and third ones. and i think that peter jackson should also make THE HOBBIT into a movie it`s totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has to be one of the best movies of all time! Great acting, Great special effects and Great story! From the cartoon version of the story we all saw how bad the movie could have turned out and most movies this year paled in comparisson to this Excellent movie! 5 stars

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! This has to be the best movie I have ever seen in my entire life! The actors and actresses where so great in this movie, especially Viggo Mortensen and Orlando Bloom, they really portrayed their characters well.

The beginning is a bit boring, but it gets better later on. I think it`s ok because it`s somewhat scary and creative. But it`s really long, it`s almost 3 hours, i almost fell asleep in the beginning. But they do have some really good actor and character, for example, like Legolas (Orlando Bloom) was a hit. All my friends and I loved him and his character. The movie would be better if they make it shorter.

I think it should have won a academy award but you know those Hollywood people have in mind for the other movie to win the best picture you know which one it is, but I give it ***** and I love each part of the movie never got bored + right now I own it on DVD which is more coller, I can`t wat till the second one comes which is this December.

I think the LOTR is the best movie ever. You`re so excited and you have this great feeling. After the movie, I was shaking. Not because I was scared, but because I wanted to know what happened next. The LOTR rocks. I saw it 4 times. I would give it 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.
