King Kong

I really didn`t like it and i thought it was one of the worst movies ever jeremy r.

I got to watch KING KONG on my birthday 1/16/66, and it was the best present ever!!! Peter Jackson`s passion of KONG equals mine.This IS the best film of 2005!I was so blown away by the effects and story line, even after 3 hrs and 7 min I wanted more. I can`t wait til it comes out on dvd! I got the Peter Jackson`s production diaries for Christmas (I haven`t seen it yet)cause I took Ebert and Roper`s advice and saw the movie first.But I can`t wait to watch it so I can ask , how`d he do that? Peter thank you so much for bringing back THE KING! Excellent movie!

What a waste of time. Bad script, bad acting strangely at times bad CG work that really was generally fabulous but would fall completely short at times. I think the highlite was when the multimillion dollar paid actress Naomi couldn`t learn to juggle for the pittance she was getting paid so the used CG instead!!! Thank god I had my iPod so I had something to do till the end.

Ewww this movie was stupid i hated it

The movie was typical Hollywood over-hyped nonsense. But, in defence of the "bad lines", I noticed it too but when I heard the lines I immediately assumed they were trying to give an old fashioned feel to the dialog. Which is kind of cool. So the dialog didn`t bother me. Everything else did though, which is why I didn`t like the movie. The action scenes were just too much. If all you`re interested in is visual effects then maybe you`ll like it, but if you`re not blinded by CGI then you probably won`t.

I think Kind Kong was EXCELLENT!!! it was one of the best movies i have ever seen! maybe a little to long though but so worth it!! there were so many emotions involved and i felt like i was right in the movie!!! it would be excellent in 3D!!! you should consider it!!

THIS MOVIE IS WAYY TOO LONG, AND THE SCENES WITH THE GIANT BUGS,...SO STUPID!, OH AND ADRIEN BRODY IS GORGEOUS!!

Not worth the money. The last hour has almost no dialog, King Kong fights off planes and his blond friend makes eyes at him. Very borring. Very unrealistic how could they bring this giant Gorilla in that ship. The ship was smaller than him, this is why we never got to see that voyage.

Unbelievable special effects - no I mean not believable. Too many times in the movie I said "No way". The script was weak. The lines were too much. The good parts were the special effects and realism in King Kong`s mannerisms.

brilliant! thoroughly entertainting! yes, its pretty long, but every minute is packed with action and excitement. actors are all wonderful in their capacities. only movie i would actually cosider watching again!

PETER JACKSON SHOULD DEFINTELY STICK TO HOBBIT MOVIES. FULL OF WAY TOO MUCH USELESS GARBAGE! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! IF YOU DON`T HAVE A LIFE, LOVE OVER SIZED APES, AND WANNA WASTE SOME MONEY GO CHECK IT OUT!

I throughly enjoyed the movie, however I found myself saying at one point let`s just get to New York already. The dinosaur and spider scene was not needed.

I did not like the monkey movie. Seemed too much like jurasic park.

Awesome special effects and animation!! This movie was incredibly enjoyable but got a little tiring because of its length.

Great special effects but the acting was weak- The monkey was realistic though.

this movie rox! i luv it!i cried lik 4 times and i would see it again and again not to mention it was funny! the dinosaurs fallin was halarious i laughed sooo loud lol!! it was great so every1 see it!

This Movie is one of the best movies of all time. my only problem with it , it`s a remake. 2005 had so many remakes, like house of wax, herbie fully loaded, the amityville horror, the longest yard, guess who etc. , and now this. but it was extremely good and coul;d of been longer...lol but it is now my second favourite movie...(the first being house of wax!!!!)if you havent seen it go see it now because no matter what those pople say about it being too long or it being cheesy it is awesome!!!(please post this!!!!)mine are never posted-RJH

An entertainig movie! -- The best part was the relationship between Kong and Ann Darrow ---- very touching at times --- Kong himself was incredible as a Special Effect -- a few scenes I could of done without: the Dinosaur stampede -- way too long and PLEASE! -- They all should of been trampled -- no way anyone survives that! --- and while the ice scene was touching it was a bit implausible as presented ( it was winter for heaven`s sake and Ann is out there in a summer party dress and shows Zero effect from the cold !). A better length would of been at around the 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. range . But !- overall -- 4 out of 5 stars

King Kong, is king of the best and what king doesn`t have a queen. This movie is what hollywood is all about making you feel something and transporting you somewhere else for 3 short hours. Peter Jackson and his crew did an excellent job. King Kong comes alive, he is the show.

Boooo! This movie was horrible. Acting was bad, story was bad, graphics were bad. In short bad. I can`t believe people cried, and I am a cryer. I just wanted him to die so the movie would be over. And it was creepy that they showed more chemistry between the animal and human than between the two humans, and the scene when they are in the park on the ice, cheese fest. If you have a brain don`t see it unless you want to lose a few brain cells from stupidity and boredom.

ok movie not great could have taken out atleast 25mins of staredowns between a women and a gorilla! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long but good special effects.

This movie was a disappointment. It was way too cheesy and the ending went on forever. I think Peter Jackson should stop focusing on the special effects and work on a better story line and better character development. Although certain parts were done well and the ending did make me sad. Beginning was good also. PLEASE post this, i never get mine posted!

This movie was absolutely phenomenal!!!!! I cried from middle to end. It depicted the most serene love encounter between two souls. King Kong simply wanted to do was watch the sunset, enjoy the beauty of the world, with the one whom he loved, and reside in the confines of his environment. He was a beast with a sensitive spirit. This was the preeminance of films, thus far.

This movie blows...worst casting....and in some scenes he looked huge and in some seans he looked like might joe young - MK critic

This movie would be okay if it was shortend by 1 1/2 hours. Too Too Long.

It`s a must see on the BIG screen & it doesn`t even feel like 3 hours!

I couldn`t even make it throuugh this dreadful movie they took at most 90 minutes of material and painfully drug it out too over 3 hours terrible choice this movie may have been watchable at 2 hours but three just is too much.

IT WAS GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the most part this was an excellent remake. A little over the top at times & it could have done with maybe half of the gore. I would not recommend it for younger viewers as some scenes were quite frightening. Naomi Watts & Adrien Brody did a marvelous job, so did Jack Black, I hated him...lol

Kong was "OK" but not great. The effects were good. The entire movie would`ve been more enjoyable if the ENTIRE dinosaur sequence was left on the cutting room floor... the stampede scene was nothing less than stupid

I ENJOYED IT! This is the best remake of King Kong. Aside from this movie and the 1933 original, the only other movie I enjoyed watching was the Japanese version, "King Kong versus Godzilla". Seen this movie twice in the theater because of the battle, so-called wrestling match between the two. Great entertainment. Peter Jackson`s King Kong was wonderfully done, filled with some emotional scenes, especially the bond and relationship between Ann Darrow and King Kong, something that was missing in the original movie. Maybe it was somewhat long, but it still captured the feeling of the original. I was still saddened and felt a sense of tear
