It was awsome. It skipped over a few little things that I think if you didn`t watch the series, would be a little.."o...kay". It was still awsome though!!!! JOSS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO DO MORE!

Wasn`t fan of firefly at all. I was shocked by how good SERENITY was, now I`m getting the 1st and only season on dvd. This movie is amazing you`ve got to go see it now

It was a great movie that unfortunately few people are going to. This type of movie begs to be watched on a big screen.

Very entertaining movie. You don`t need to watch the series to know what`s going on. Funny, action packed and no slow downs or hang ups.

Serenity was not what I expected it to be. I thought it was oing to be full of action like it showed in the previews. Not the case. One thing was good in this movie, which was the acting done by Nathon Fallion. I hope to see him star in other films better than this one, because he is such a good actor. This film wasn`t terrible, but not great either. C Average.

AWSOME effects, good story and flow. Not just for Firefly fans. Must see for sci fi fans

It`s so RARE these days to see a movie with GREAT WRITING. Go and spend the money to see Serenity! Guaranteed to be entertaining!

Okay, apparently you have to see the series, or something before this movie, cuz I had no idea what the -blank- was going on. No character development at all. It is like we were dropped into the middle of a story. No Start and No finish. Advise to those who made it, don`t make a movie for such a limited crowd, all you had to do is have a little at the beginning to catch us up, and little at the end to tell us where it was going. Other wise???

Just about the best sci-fi flick in the past decade!

I was hesitant to see this movie at first. However i am glad i spent the money. Entertaining movie. Well worth the expense.

Just plain old fashioned good quality sci-fi with a fun western twist. Typical great Josh dialog and an interesting plot. I miss Firefly... Now go find 5 friends and take them!

Excellent movie. One of the few movies this year that is worth seeing in the theatre.

Great movie! Initially I thought this was going to be a low budget space flick (because of the way they filmed some of the opening scenes), but it became more enjoyable as the plot developed. Genuinely funny a times and seriously tense at others. Probably not for everyone, but most action movie buffs will like this.

Great movie for Sci-Fi lovers and fans of the t.v.show. My friend loved as much as I did and had never seen an episode of Firefly.

I love the industrial feel to the movie. And, meshing a Space/Western genre was pure brilliance.

I guess you have to be a fan of the tv show cause it was not as spectacular as you guys are saying. Tired of all these fake movies with unbelievable characters (little girl who kicks butt). Let`s get back to the real world.

Truly awesome! Typical Joss Whedon fare. If a sequel isn`t in the works I hope someone has the brains to bring the TV show back!

A good solid piece of science fiction, likeable characters, with a good blend of humor and humanity. Well paced plot and interesting storyline. The best science fiction i`ve seen in years.

A great movie and a definite must see for the year.

It`s been a long time since I`ve come out of a theatre thinking that I`ve gotten my moneys worth, I came out of this one not regretting one penny spent (Would have payed more gladly). It looks like great movies can still be made...you just have to wait for them.

Serenity is a very good movie with an okay trailer.

Did not like the way humour was incorporated into the film...otherwise entertaining.

This movie was really good.....it was something new with kick ass action and the storyline was interesting and not boring. People who don`t like scifi flicks....this one you will like....way better then war of the worlds

Serenity is an excellent movie; it combines new ideas and perceptions of what traditional science fiction films have been and takes them to the next level. This movie was so good that I immediately went out and purchased the entire TV series on DVD. Excellent, fresh and outstandingly entertaining.

I was worried that, since I never saw the television series upon which this movie was based, I would be out of the loop with regards to the story and the characters. In fact the movie stands alone -- it was easy to get into and easy to `get`. Science Fiction works best when there is a sense of humour and a sense of `play` -- this movie has both. Loved it. Hope there is a sequel.
