OK NUMBER ONE! this movie is not scary at all!!!!!!! if it wasnt for the scary music or whatever noone else would think it would be scary too the plot line was ok but i laughed more than i screamed

this was the worst movie I`ve ever saw! Was not scary, it was just STUPID! I think "the Mothman Prophecies" was a lot scarier.

This movie is so scary! I could not get to sleep at night! Daveigh Chase played Samara so great! She won Best Villain at the MTV Movie Awards. This movie still gives me the shiveries! :) (:

I think it was good and scary but it is true that there is a lack of explanation. Maybe that is just what makes it scary, because you ask yourself all these questions.

That was the scariest thing I have ever seen in my LIFE! Sanara is the creepiest.... thing! well whatever she is, (a zombie? a ghost?)I do not like her! the movie had awesome graphics, and I really hope there will be a sequel!

OMG that was the scariest movie EVER!!! i`m still perinoid that she`s gonna get me wen i`m alone for watching the tape! it`s so disturbing! but awsome, i went researching about it and i put in anna morgan and a bunch of things came up about her daughter and horses saying that she comited suisude and that itz based on a tru story!!! so i`m still wondering, r parts or the storyline of the movie real? or r they just doing that to scare ppl? well n/e way i give the movie 5 stars ***** IT IS SOOOOOO TIGHT!

Gimme a break...anyone who watched feardotcom and the ring can obviously see that they carry almost the same plot...with the exception that feardotcom actually makes sense and has better acting! I mean comparison time: THE RING: watching a tape you die within 7 days, FEARDOTCOM: watching a website you die within 48 hours. The Ring went on way too long with not enough explanation, and anyone who said that movie is scary should go back to preschool because it wasnt. Save yourself a big disappointment and go rent FearDotCom instead of The Ring.

I thought the rings was a great and had a mind boggling plot and what is it about little kids that are have pych problem it just makes a movie more scary.....very well done but most of all remember 7 days

I thought it was an excellent film, i was totally freaked and covered my eyes at certain parts. A lot of people i know thought it was horrible but it did get good ratings, i`m actually gonna buy it

Its a scary movie for brilliant minds. Where you not just simply be scared but think first... ponder and get confused before you scream or not.

Finally a decent attampt at a "scary movie". I`ve been waiting for a movie like this to be made for years. It is original, very well done in all respects, well paced, and genuinely creepy in parts. A must see for those who like these kinds of movies. Can`t wait for the DVD.

the movie was great I`d loved it me and my bestfriend went to go see it a million of times and it still scared us.

the first real horror movie i`ve seen in years loved it

This movie didn`t scare me at all.I`m kinda desensitized anyway. My friends all thought Red Dragon was scary, I thought it was really interesting, but not scary. This movie`s twisted though, that`s the only way I can describe it. When the girl came out of the television, I thought that was pretty cool, but other than that, it wasn`t scary - just twisted.

For a PG-13 movie, it was very disturbing.
