Scarlett Johansson will host SNL for fifth time Published By Tribute on Feb 24, 2017

Scarlett JohanssonMuch is being said about Scarlett Johansson's controversial part in the upcoming sci-fi film Ghost in the Shell. But her latest gig is what has people talking today.

The 32-year-old Golden Globe nominee is slated to host the popular late-night sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live on March 11.

It will be her fifth time hosting and will place her among the ranks of five-timers Ben Affleck, Candice Bergen, Tina Fey, Bill Murray and Justin Timberlake.

Alec Baldwin, who has hosted 17 times, holds the record.

News of Scarlett's booking came when SNL tweeted a photo of their upcoming schedule. The image, which you can check out below, also reveals that the musical guest on March 11 will be 20-year-old Grammy winner Lorde.

Before Scarlett takes the stage, Oscar winner (and one of this year's nominees) Octavia Spencer will make her debut as host on March 4. The musical guest that night will be Father John Misty.
