Dwayne Johnson gives details about Vin Diesel feud Published By Alexandra Heilbron on Apr 05, 2018

Dwayne JohnsonDwayne Johnson has given details about his feud with Vin Diesel on the set of the last Fast & Furious movie, The Fate of the Furious, which released last year.

At that time, rumors were swirling about an on-set feud because of an Instagram post in which he wrote: "Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

Dwayne has now opened up about it in the cover story for Rolling Stone's May 2018 edition.

"We were not in any scenes together," he clarified. "Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer. And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not."

Although Dwayne is working on a new Fast & Furious spinoff with Jason Statham based on their characters, titled Hobbs and Shaw, Dwayne says he's not sure about doing another Fast & Furious sequel.

“Right now I’m concentrating on making the spinoff as good as it can be," he stated, adding at first that he bears Diesel no ill will, but quickly taking those words back: "I wish him all the best and I harbor no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have. Actually, you can erase that last part about 'no ill will.' We’ll just keep it with the clarity."

There's always going to be conflicts between co-workers. But they should try to keep it to themselves and just do their job.

He should just have listened to that line from Triple H all those years ago: "Know your role"

Ummmm...know your role was the Rock’s catchphrase...Triple H’s was “Let’s get ready to suck it” or simply “suck it”.

Come on guys. Let's not forget your role here. You've been asked to provide your service as a movie actor, no more. So check your ego at the door and do what you've been paid to do per the director and producers of the film.

We have 2 alpha males, in the same profession. Of course there is going to need some checking your ego’s at the door. My husband & I love both of your movies.

How is it that Vin Diesel even has an 'ACTING' career! I mean Vin and acting are a total oxymoron! One trick pony that uses steroids to improve, when acting classes are what he so desperately needs!

Both are men of color, and should be allies not enemies. They have both made millions in an industry controlled by Whites and Jews. Collaborate, Black Panther Rising.

Wouldn’t it be great for adults to act like adults. I don’t care to hear anyone’s dirty laundry no matter who they are or how famous they are. They should want that private as well.

The Rock is an actor and sports 'preformer' he is not a trained fighter. VD got his first role because he was a bouncer in Vancouver and knocked the fuck out of another 'action hero' actor who I won't mention because he's a hack.... I'm putting my money on the guy who has actually been in a fist fight outside of a ring at least once in his life. All that being said. I prefer the Rock as an actor and as a person. I think he's a pretty awesome human being. I just don't think he would win that fight
