This movie is slow at parts and the action is average nothing great. Save your money as there are way better movies than this. People that think this is the best movie ever obviously do not go out much at all. Come one there are thousands of movies that put this movie to shame is so many ways.

I thought this was a great movie. I'd been looking forward to it for a while, as I have read the book series. In my opinion books are always quite a bit better than the movies based on them but I still really enjoyed seeing the characters come to life. I noticed minor changes that were made but I didn't mind them,they fit well into the movie. I think you might appreciate the movie more if you read the book first but I definitely would still recommend seeing this movie!

Books are amazing, movie is amazing, author is amazing, actors are amazing. Everything about it is AMAZING!!! Gosh I LOVVVVE this series!!

Anyone who didn't like this movie must be blind because it was the best movie I have ever seen in my life it had awesome actors awesome action I personally loved it its just as good as the book I recommend this movie it is not a waste of money

The movie is true to the book. Although both leading actors played their parts individually very well, I didn't really believe in their chemistry, although it did get better as the movie went on. Can't beleive Jai Courtney as evil Eric! I'm used to him playing good guys! :)

I give it 3.5 rounded up for a decent story. In the style of the Twilight or Hunger Games franchises. One of its faults is they must have hired the Hunger Games set people because it has the same look to it. Good story though, compelling plot and realistic action scenes as opposed to the typcial action movie where it's just to fantastical to be believable. Which may be why those comparing it to an action movie may be disappointed. It's not an action movie, all of these book series are written with girls in mind.

If anyone thought this movie was good must be brain-damaged. I wass soooooo slow. Rent it. Save ur $14

Never read the book but did find the movie some what boring at times. When the action did take place I felt some what depressed like I have seen it before or seen better in other movies. Don't waste your money on this movie better ones will come out.

An incredible adventure from start to finish. All actors did a phenomenal job, and it kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time, and it truly did the book justice. Not all about the romance either, which was really great.

Most likely it won't stand out as the best movie you've ever seen... nor are there any Academy Award performances. Was you will find is a pretty good adaptation of an amazingly good book. There are some awesome moments in this movies... and there as some that fall a little flat... but overall this is an entertaining 2+ hour ride with some a solid performance from the leads.

For the ones that say that is the best movie they ever saw I laugh at them. Those poor suckers would not know a great movie if it bit them. Maybe they are taking meds or something cause I sure found it average and can easily name way better movies than this one.

The movie is average at best. I found some parts slow and the action parts are Ok nothing great that stands out or has not been seen in other action movies. More like a one time movie see it and forget about it.

AMAZING

Quite disappointing as I was really looking forward to watch it. Good actors and musical score but all supporting subplots didn't make it to the movie. By doing that the movie was lacking a strong foundation and didn't translate well the feeling of a new atmosphere.

I loved it! I wasn't sure if Shailene was going to pull it off, but she did a great job of portraying Tris. A must see even if you haven't read the book!
