Home Before Dark (Apple TV+)

I wasn't sure if this was for kids at first, because of the lead character, but it's definitely not. Mature subject matter about murders, about a husband and wife with three daughters and a slew of pretty bad things that happen in the small town where they move, but the family unit proves to be stronger and I liked that about it (even if the kids were always worried about their parents possibly splitting, which is a sad commentary on these times). Only thing was it was a little too violent. It was unnecessary in my opinion. Also, the boy dressed like a girl, which was never explained, was unnecessary and confusing to the point where it drew too much attention and then I realized I'd missed a key part of the show and had to rewind.
