Much better than Toy Story and Toy Story 2. Not as good for mature viewers who would fair it against A Bug s Life and Shrek. Boo is one of the cuter chracters animated to date. A must see.

Monsters, Inc. is a factory which sends monsters around the world to scare kids who are trying to sleep. It s nothing personal, in fact the screams are used to power Monstropolis where the monsters live. This job isn t easy for the monsters, who believe children are toxic.

Unlike most animated films in which actors record their voices individually and never meet their co-stars, John Goodman, who voices Sulley, insisted that he and Billy Crystal, who plays Mike, record their voices together.

Highly entertaining, bewildering animation, and great story for kids of all ages (might even prove to be therapeutically beneficial for some kids who really are afraid of monsters). However, could have been funnier. Movie didn t get one belly-aching laugh from me (mom of two boys, ages three and five).

One of the best movies of the year so far. More "kiddie" than Shrek, but funny just the same. Amazing animation. Crystal and Goodman steal the show. Plus, if you re a Star Wars fan, go see this movie just to catch a glimpse of Episode II!
