Awesome! It was hilarious, the best comedy I`ve seen all year. I could relate to the noisy house and everyone talking or shouting at once. It will become part of my video library.

BEST movie I`ve seen in a very long time!

I`ve seen this movie like 4 times if not more I can`t keep track, its one of the best, creative movies out there, theres no sex, no violence, no swearing and its nice to see something without all of that in it. And to know that that actually happened to someone is hilarious, all the characters together are so funny to watch. I definately recommend it to people, and its not just an adult movie, I am 15 and i know many people my age that would love it, and some even younger than me.

I loved it nia is so funny she may be the next biggest sitcom actress in hollywood. btw i am from city where she was living before she became now famous winnipeg canada! I saw flick 3 times already everytime it is just as funny! the humour reminded me of watching british sitcoms so natural the way it happens.

we laughed so hard and the movie was well written and acted. A definated must see.

This movie was so boring, it was a waste of my time...

Great movie! However, this is not a movie for children. Adults of all ages with a sense of humor will enjoy this movie, especially if they are of Greek heritage. There are lots of truths in this movie with some exaggeration in some instances. Go and see this one if you want to get a good laugh!

Saw it with my mom and daughter - three generations (two European) and we all related. Wonderfully funny.

I loved the movie. When my husband and I saw the movie it left us with a memory of a lovely movie and we also enjoyed the fact that my husband Stewart was able to call himself Ian being of a Greek background myself, although not so loud we were both able to relate and understand the movie. It is the first movie we have seen would like to forget. Thank you for a memory and letting us not fear the theater again.

Beging a greek i really enjoyed it and it was sooo funny to see the people in the movie do the same things i do as a greek! it was really funny and it was all true everything cause i went through the same stuff toula did yah i hate people who said they hated it cause they don`t know what a good movie is !

Wonderful movie..it could have been titled My Big Fat Ukranian Wedding....it brought back so many memories of being part of a big wonderful noisy family.

A wonderful, delightfully-surprising movie - one normally expects a movie not to live up to high hype, but this is definitely an exception. Terrific characterization all-around, not just in the main chacters. Warm, understandable, sympathetic people with true-to-life problems but without the faux-realism-offensive language and sexual content that distracts from theatre enjoyment. Bravo, and kudos to everyone involved.

I waited a long time to see this movie, but it was worth going to see. Not a big fan of comedies as they are usually stupid, but this was an exception. Great from start to finish. Would definetly see it again!! The type is true!

very good low budget film

Nia Vardalos is a brave woman. No `hollywood` actress was willing to gain 30lbs to play the role so she did in her first major performance, and like Minnie Driver, risks those who will judge her based on appearance and not on the quality of a true actress

Well worth the money...a "nice" movie...very funny and down to earth.

Loved every minute of it!!!! Saw it twice and wouldn`t mind seeing it again. When it comes out on video I will definitely buy it. It was very refreshing to watch a movie with no sex, foul language or violence in it.
