I will see this for a second time. Wow. Great and engaging.

Every character had its own story to tell. Even if you don’t know the story of Dracula-The silver bullet, the light of day, the stake through the heart-this film will still entertain. If you just want to “GET AWAY” for a spell, I highly recommend this movie.

One of the best films I have seen the the past year. I will see it twice. The kind of film that you hate to go to the washroom, because you will miss something.

I'll admit, what with the lackluster reviews for this little horror/vampire GEM, I wasn't really expecting that Much. I was just Hoping to LIKE it. Well, oh my sweet lord, was I Ever Surprised....almost STUNNED, in fact. The few reviews that said this movie was 'something special' were underplaying it if Anything. From the casting and acting- unexpected in such a genre-driven flick, to the sumptious cinematography and luscious, moody and NOT overdone Lighting, to VERY REAL and well-done CGI - right down to the Story (I liked it....a LOT) and good PACING, clear through to a Very well-thought out SOUNDTRACK even, this movie was HI-QUALITY....All de Way! WAY above what one may normally expect in even a Good, meaty Coppola-style Drac vehicle. BRAVO. And MAN- does THIS lovely horror romp deserve to be Hyped and promoted....WAY MORE! The Captain....the sailors, the boy, the heroine....just.....PLEASE go and SEE it, if you even Like a GOOD Vampire story. A rare case where I might even LIKE to see a Sequel. I do HOPE it catches FIRE...cuz it Deserves too! I'm going 5 on this one!

Can't I see at least ONE MOVIE or read ONE Review without some Idiota spewing some garbage about some WOKE/SCHMOKE B/S. TIRED of it. I don't KNOW or CARE what it MEANS. Just WATCH the Dang Movie. If you Don't LIKE IT, FINE. Just say 'I didn't like it'. Enuf about your version of the (Word that rhymes w/SPOKE and POKE) phenomena B/S. No One Cares about your philosophy. I thought the movie was Good....it's Hard to be Scary!

1. The Dracula CGI was decent and relatively cool looking. 2. There is a real problem with the 1897 acceptance of Black Doctor from Cambridge. The world of 2023 is still fairly racist against minorities. The 1897 world of a ship leaving Romania? That would be beyond white supremacy era. So, the Black doctor issue is a mess compared to the era. 3. Captain Highliner was a decent Irish performance. It is a basic simply story of Dracula cutting loose on the crew. Not outstanding in any way but terrible. 3/5 stars is fair.

In other movie when dracula traveled didn't he have someone to watch over him to make sure he got his blood. why did he want to travel in the first place. why England... did he want some English blood. i guess he got tired of transavanian blood. He took a big chance traveling alone.. a lot of people with crosses around.. because England's a christian country. jack the rippers going to get mad he's on his territory too. why did he bring all the dirt..is he going to do some gardening at night. Wait until he tastes English blood back then they had poor diets: kidney pie etc. Next movie hes on another boat going back home.

Cinemotography was fabulous and Story line was great as always. Dracula was perfect in every aspect.

The woke hints just stinks. Eye roll,.please

thoroughly enjoyed this story line about Dracula- Go see it - U will not be disappointed. Was glued to my seat till the very end.

Boring, boring and boring.

All in all, an okay movie, but, unfortunately, not scary (new filmmaker?). Got better towards the end. An okay use of my two hours.

An amazingly unique take on the infamous Dracula! Great movie!! If you like this genre and Dracula you'll love this fresh take! A must see!!

This story wasn't necessary. It's a mess of a movie...stay away.

For some odd reason the two main characters were a black man who was a doctor and got a degree at Cambridge and a female Romanian villager who spoke three languages. The doctor's father was a deck hand so getting into Cambridge University would have been easy in the Aristocratic Victorian era. Stupid , Eastern europe was a backwater so where the hell would a simple villager learn 3 languages with nary a school in sight, Ridiculous. Silly woke comments were dropped throughout and everyones teeth and diction were perfect. These are Russian and Romanian Sailors for God sake. Should be tough and fearless. The ship was great, as was the premise. It certainly had the ominous atmosphere needed. But modern woke ideology crept in. WHY ON EARTH WOULD THESE TWO PEOPLE BE ON THIS SHIP??? The Director blew it.
