I thopught that is was awesome...extremely scary...and you really got involved with these characters...you wanted to scream at them to run faster! it was really well done

I thought the Chainsaw Massacre was scary because I knew it was real and that made it even scarier. It wass worth $8.00!

This movie sucked! It was almost as scarey as the orginal from 1973. How sad is that? It was changed too much from the original. The famous scenes with the meat hook or the girl being grabbed and carried back in the house under leatherface`s arm were fantastic and made the original a classic. This movie has no such memorable moments. I don`t know what movie the people who gave it 5 stars were watching, but I wouldn`t even recommend this as a rental.

IT IS A TRUE STORY!!!!!! THATS WHAT MAKES IT SO SCARY....ALL THE BLACK AND WHITE FOOTAGES ARE REAL...THERE IN TEXAS POLICE RECORDS

I have never gone to a movie that has accually had me jumping out of my seat and screaming from fright. It is definately the best scary movie ever. very realistic

I loved the new texas chainsaw massacre.. i had a huge smile on the entire time i was watching... except for when the main character cut off thomas hewitt`s arm.. that made me sad.

It was great for a scary movie. I had never ever been even slieghtly scared of a movie, but this was pretty scary. And the thing is that they say it was a true story. I still am not sure. If anyone knows the true answer... let them tell me.

My friend and I r so obsessed with these movies that we have our own little parts. I`m leatherface and she is chop top and we act like lunatics just cuz we luv the movies. We also look up information on the real and true story that is an inspiration on these movies. I luv these movies and so does my friend!!!! Our rooms are decorated with texas chainsaw massacre posters and pictures and u can`t even see our walls or celings. That is how much we luv these movies plus we were the first ones in line to see the remake. We have every single movie ever made.

Being in my early 30`s the original TCM captivated me.The remake here definately deserves a thumbs up.The whole depiction of "backwoods" Texas,along with Leatherface seen w/out his mask at one point and simply the "gore" that the original couldn`t show make this movie a must see!

i thought that the movie was great . it was scary but i thought it to be more sad . especially when the ring fell out into the tub from Biels boyfriend. i wanted to cry.

There are a variety of reviews concerning the "all so important" connection between the 2 films. Critics rant and rave on how the movie doesnt live up to its predicesor, however they missed the most important aspect of all. Markus Nispal never tried to relive the past, rather create the future. A new version with chills and spills around every corner. There are many scenes such as the infamous "gunnar" run through the woods scene, brandishing a chainsaw, and clearly instilling a piece of brilliance into our minds for years to come. Even the door that Leatherface slams shut to signify his power and the demise of whomever crosses this point phy

This was the most horrible movie I have ever seen! If this really did happen making a movie about it to give people a thrill at their expense is terrible! No one can walk away from a movie like that unscathed!

I`m a huge horror fan who has been dissapointed with whats been coming out for the past few years but this movie definately makes up for them all. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. Who ever said it sucks probably said that cause they needed to buy a new pair of boxers after the movie. GO SEE FOR SURE!!

I don`t care what the critics say! The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was worth the watch... This is the horror movie of our generation, definatly not for the older generation. A+ everything!
