Micheal Bay's films are incredible... I loved this movie and will definitely see this again, a must see for all action fans.

The action in the movie is so good. It's got a few disjointed scenes and could really use some good rock song soundtrack in it but in my opinion it's a must see and great value.

you're not supposed to watch this for the story, watch it for the action, appreciate the epic action scenes. Why do you guys think people loved pacific rim, it was epic, there was no story.

I hope this is the last transformers movie ever made. Very cheesy movie. There are no words to describe how terrible it was. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. This is no Avatar. No C.G.I. in the world,can save this tanker. I rate it at 0 Star.

The time just flew by! This movie really needed to be about five hours long to truly do the story justice.

This movie is awesome. I mean what do you guys expect? And be honest. I mean did you watch the trailer or the first three movies, you knew exactly what you were going to be watching. Everyone know's the movie isn't about story I mean the cartoon wasn't even about a story is what about alien robots disguised as cars on Earth protecting it from Megatron. This movie has awesome action sequences, amazing cars, and the acting is good. The shots are beautiful. You knew what you were watching when you bought your ticket to see the movie.

Would have been 5 stars but for the cheesy, poorly written script. Either make the movie for adults or kids, don't try for both. We all saw how Lucas made out doing that.

Everything was fine except for the Story. Need to focus more on the story.

The people who don't like this movie obviously don't understand it. This country's education system is turning out a population of morons! Get yourself an education and watch this movie again!!!

Wahlberg said people would be surprised just how intelligent and character-driven this movie would be, and he wasn't lying.

Better then the first 3 by far and easy to see why with the lack of shia labeouf. Lots of action but a decent storyline starting off in 3 different areas working their way to 1.

I think Michael Bay thinks that everybody thinks he is awesome. Well, Michael, you're awesome at picking hot female leads, I'll give you that. But you had almost $200 million to make this thing epic, and all you did was make it epically LONG. I almost left after 2 hours; I felt like I was being subjected to a way more than usual amount of pointless one liners and tangents that led to more and more unnecessary minutes of film. I want my money back, Michael. Give me my money Michael. Fk you Michael.

People saying the action and FX was great are the reason that garbage like this gets lauded. This was a movie with very little substance considering its huuuuge budget. I don't want to sit in a theater for 3 plus hours unless it's a damn good movie. this was not a damn good movie. this was a damn boring movie. I saw at least 5 other people in the theater making fun of the cheesey ass lines they gave the actors. Michael Bay ruined Transformers forever. Let's see what he does to Ninja Turtles... Michael, wha' Happened?

I don't think anyone is "missing the point of a summer blockbuster"... to be spoon fed the usual sap story with some "awesome CG and FX" is simply not enough when asking nearly $20 for a ticket. This was terrible rubbish (not unlike the previous 3) and we should all do ourselves a favour and admit that this was a flop... unless you enjoy watching hyped up crap? They'll continue making shitty movies so long as we keep paying to see them and not giving them the shit review they deserve.

Awesome FX and action. Mark Wahlberg is better than Shia ever was as the main human lead. The people giving this movie bad reviews are definitely missing the point of a summer blockbuster. Bigger and better than any other Transformers movie!

too long, boring, I didn't like or care about any of the human characters - none of their problems at the outset got resolved in the end, making this film seem even more hollow; the origin twist was terrible, and by the end I was hoping all the transformers would be destroyed. Michael Bay needs to stop.

2 stars strictly for the FX and art. Aside from that, the bloated $180 million budget blockbuster event of the summer left me completely bored after the first 45 minutes. Why oh WHY kill off the comic relief?

If you're in to blowing a movie budget on excessive explosions then this movie is right up your alley. However if you watched the first 3 movies then it is very evident that there are huge continuity issues and gaps. The introductions of the Dinobots was piss poor. The explanation of how humans created / reverse engineered transformers is a very far stretch. The ending with Prime was utterly ridiculous. Storyline left me wanting my money back. It would make a nice Blu-Ray just for the special effects....OH not to mention it's extremly long . Everything tanks after the first hour / one specific human dies.
