This movie was ok it touched on a few main points however some things were left out and that was a little disappointing. I think that had there been more time it could have been better .

Friday, November 21, 11:08:41 AM

i thought it was great.

Friday, November 21, 10:43:40 AM

went to the midnight show last night i loved it. Edward did have to grow on all of our crew but when it was over we loved him. Kristen was a perfect clutsy Bella and very entertaining. You can never make a movie as well as these books are written. But I definitely felt the sparks between Bella and Edward!!! Loved and I am seeing again this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a HUGE Twilight fan, I was so hopeful that the movie even though different from the book would be great, but I felt very disappointed with the screenplay and the directing. I do not blame the actors for the movie being bad. This movie had great potential, but it just didn't happen. I hope if they make New Moon into a movie they will take more time developing the movie.

Friday, November 21, 10:34:35 AM

I have to agree with most of the comments on here. The movie was okay, it lacked the essence of the book. I know that you can't fit everything in the book into a 2 hour movie but it was lacking essential scenes. I could'nt believe that when Edward goes into the sunlight that is all that happened?! that is not how it is described in the book. The kissing scene was comical too. There just wasnt a connection between Edward and Bella. If you loved the book, i doubt you will love the movie.

Friday, November 21, 10:30:02 AM

The movie has ruined Twilight for me forever. The acting was terrible and there was so many flaws. I understand you cant make the whole book into the movie but it seemed liek the people who worked on the script didnt even comprehend the book. so many details that are so important were left out. The main problem was its supposed to be a love story between bella and edward and it was so corny and cheesy. The serious parts were funny because they were so awkward. And what was with Jaspers face ? i thought he was supposed to make people feel good around him.

Friday, November 21, 10:26:29 AM

Ah... What can I say. I was disappointed. I was so excited for this movie, it wasn't even funny. When it started.. I laughed at some parts because of the poor acting skills. I do think Robert did an amazing job though.. he did have some "iffy" moments with his acting, but it was pretty sound throughout the movie. Kristen, WORST Bella ever! She is the one who ruined the whole freakin' movie... her acting was embarrassing to watch, and parts in the movie were sooo choppy.. Nothing really ran smoothly. I loved Alice, Rosalie, James and Victoria though.. they were great. And the fight seen was good! I think they put more money in that scene.. but overall, it was nothing what I expected.. A lot

I just spent this whole morining reading the reviews and I gotta say your all right. It was good in the sense that it was something very hard to act. Everyone had adifferent story in mind and different ways of looking at he characters. It was bad in the sense that it wasn't the way i looked at the characters. But you know what there wasn't alot of funding and I don't think antone could have predicted the size of fanclub and no one was going to seriously fund an popular book. Give them soe credit, but not too mus. It still could have been better.

Friday, November 21, 10:07:50 AM

I thought overall it was good and all. The beginning was sort of off and awkward with how the actors (mostly Edward/Rob with Bella/Kristen-sorry!), but eventually it got better and I did enjoy it. Truly the only reason I might have not liked it was that it was not how I had imagined it, but as for those who hadn't read the book they will totally fall in love with it.

Friday, November 21, 10:05:30 AM

I was defiantly disappointed when i saw the movie last night! Alot of things were different from the book and I do realize that it is hard to get a 500 page book in a 2 hour movie, but i think they could of done a better job. I think the actors were a little bit over acting and it was MEGA cheesy.

Friday, November 21, 09:37:39 AM

Saw the movie last night. A bit disappointing, but I realize the book is difficult to condense into two hours on screen. As a fan of the books, I would still like to see more of them on the big screen and hope they can pull it together for next time. It is great to see the characters in front of your face.

Friday, November 21, 09:12:26 AM

just like the book.

Friday, November 21, 09:10:23 AM

This movie was a huge dissappointment. I knew the movie wouldnt be as good as the book going in but this was bad...really bad...so bad we left .

Friday, November 21, 09:02:10 AM

I read and loved all the books. I saw the movie last night; and it just didn’t do it. Great cast, great location - but the story got lost. You didn't see the relationship between Alice and Bella at all. The Cullen’s house was all wrong. Bella’s room was too small and no rocking chair?! It would have been cool if you could hear the thoughts Edward was hearing. The high school kids were too juvenile. Edward’s reaction to Bella in the bio lab was comical. This material would have been better presented as a mini series on TV. I think fans would love it even more if they could have seen the story told in 6 to 8 hours, rather then packed into two-hours. Sad. I was hoping for Harry Pott

Friday, November 21, 09:01:40 AM

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It had the worst acting imaginable and the worst representation of vampires possible. Most people in the theatre for the midnight showing were actually laughing during the serious scenes due to the sheer lack of acting ability

Friday, November 21, 08:56:54 AM

HAHAHAHAHA! Oh god, this was was such a horrible movie. The acting, the directing, the music ... everything. But highly entertaining BECAUSE of its badness. Watch it for the enjoyment of making fun of it, if nothing else.

Friday, November 21, 08:39:28 AM

Amazing Movie!!! Although I pretty much expectes the movie to slightly deviate from the book, and it did. But still, the movie was great on its own! Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed ar HOT!!!!

Friday, November 21, 08:36:14 AM

Terrible-don't see it if you are a fan of the books. I walked out! Bad acting, worse direction really, really low budget. The heat from the books just wasn't there. It was awkward, cheesy and nothing like the book.

Friday, November 21, 08:35:40 AM

Well done! It isn't exactly like the book. There is no way a whole novel can fit into a two hour movie. Everyone who loved the books will have opinions on which scenes should have been included, which actors did or didn't do their character justice, etc but all of that aside, as a movie it is definitely worth the trip to the theatre to see it. I will be going again!

Friday, November 21, 08:29:32 AM

The movie didn't hit all the points in the book but then again how can you. Bella has a constant conversation with herself thru out the book and that is hard to portray. I saw the movie last night and I thought it was a smash hit.

Friday, November 21, 07:27:10 AM

This movie had so much potential... Awkward acting, awkward transitions...overall a bad movie

Friday, November 21, 07:22:59 AM

not a good movie, grow up people

Friday, November 21, 07:22:14 AM

buzzkill of the worst imanginable kind, people need to get some brains

Friday, November 21, 06:56:11 AM

The only people who will get anything out of this movie are the 10-16 year olds, or the emo kids. I am truly embarassed to have liked those books now that I have seen the movie. 1 star.

Friday, November 21, 06:54:00 AM

Mediocre book, terroble movie. This movie got WAY to much hype and now everyone is going to feel let down. I was expecting it to have amazing effects and instead I got a super cheesy love story that was incredibly hard to sit through. Giving it 2 stars would be generous.

Friday, November 21, 04:25:22 AM

An artsy interpretation of the books. Well done considering a small budget for the first film and for the amount of material that had to be condensed into a 2 hour movie. The books will always have more detail and tell a better story, but the movie was enjoyable and I liked the actors who captured the essence of Edward and Bella.

Friday, November 21, 03:59:48 AM

I loved the movie. I went in realizing that it is going to have its differences and thoroughly enjoyed the take on the book. Looking forward to the other books becoming movies.

Friday, November 21, 03:49:52 AM

The absolute WORST movie I have ever seen.

Friday, November 21, 03:34:36 AM

Uhm....just saw it...and i was very dissapointed with it....i know that they cant get it right to a tee with the book...but the whole movie itself was just...awkward...i mean i dunno...the cinematography style seemed to jump, as though they kept switching the crew around, using different styles....it was strange and made it hard to follow. I did love bella, i thought she was pretty good, though not quite exact as the bella from the novel, but pretty close, even got the clumsiness in there XP Edward was just blarg. aweful, im sorry but robert just didnt do it for me at all. he was not convincing as edward or as a vampire in a whole. James and Rosalie were the best, Jasper made me lau

Friday, November 21, 03:07:17 AM

worst movie adaptation in history

Friday, November 21, 03:00:37 AM

AWESOME

Friday, November 21, 02:48:05 AM

This movie was amazing! Everything was done so perfectly...there were a few let downs but it isnt supposed to be exactly like the book. Great cast, great acting, great everything!I loved it!

Friday, November 21, 02:32:57 AM

I came prepared to be "dazzled" and I came out Disappointed. what a let down. now I honestly understand why it's getting crappy reviews. props to Hollywood -- they were right about this one.

Friday, November 21, 02:14:29 AM

I honestly enjoyed it despite my initial hesitations. Although I must add that it would probably be in your best interest to read the book first so you can relate better. But other than a few gimmicky parts like showing the speed of a vampire, it was nontheless true to the book and the performances by the main actors were pretty damn good. Will see it again :)

Friday, November 21, 01:52:53 AM

On its own the movie was just 'OK'. It passed the time and it kept your attention. However.. If you do not like this movie you probably have not read the books. There were many subtle things that you would have only gotten if you had read them like Edwards reaction when he first met Bella, Alice's comment on the way the Bella smells etc. I would say that this movie is a good companion to the Books but on its own.. meh

Friday, November 21, 01:35:17 AM

WOW! The casting was perfect, especially Robert Pattinson. He portrayed Edward Cullen perfectly (it helps that he is absolutely gorgeous). Obviously not as good as the book, but that's a given.. still an exciting, entrancing movie that had me hooked! Can't wait until the second one.

Friday, November 21, 01:15:13 AM

I came across like a bad b movie. The effect were laughable. And the acting was hit and miss.

Friday, November 21, 01:07:01 AM

It was SO awful!! Acting was terrible, definitely not enough chemistry between Kristen Stewart And Rob Pattinson. Even if I overlook the details of the book, it STILL wasn't even a good movie!!! If you liked it, then that's great, because then you wouldn't be feeling the crushing disappointment most of the people in the theater tonight felt D:

Friday, November 21, 12:59:51 AM

AMAZING!!!!!! Robert Pattinson did an amazing job as Edward..and i love him more than ever! It obviously wasnt exactly the same as the book...but they fit all of the most important things in! It also had quite a lot of funny moments. And if you've read the books including midnight sun)...you'll probly notice a bunch of little things that someone who hasnt read teh book would!

Friday, November 21, 12:46:22 AM

Such a disappointment, overacted, silly and painful to watch. It can only get better
