Spiritual content takes a backseat to endless visual effects that just vomit colours everywhere. The ending is arguably the biggest copout in cinema history. It is appalling. A horrendous betrayal of Matheson's fine novel.

It`s so richly concentrated with shakespeare and all the beautiful art. Vincent Ward was truly an artist painting a picture in this movie.

One of the best films I`ve ever seen. Brilliantly beautiful, touching, and makes you warm all over, leaving you with an one of a kind film experience.

Not only a feast for the eye, this film feeds the heart for everyone should know a love who`d go through heaven and hell to find us.

If only a person could really be loved this much. I could only hope for such a love to come my way.
