Synopsis
Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher), a young Internet billionaire, buys a Malibu beach house after its owner dies unexpectedly. With the house, Walden also inherits Alan (Jon Cryer), a tightly-wound divorcee, and his teenage son Jake (Angus T. Jones). Together, the boys struggle to navigate through the world of women, sex, dating, divorce, mothers, single parenthood, surrogate families, money and, most importantly, love.
