Star Wars Day 12 GiveawayWe've saved the best for last! This is the toy we can safely say that every Star Wars fan wants — young or old. The BB-8 App-Enabled Droid by Sphero is the most adorable droid ever. It does so much that we can’t possibly describe it all, but we’ll give it a try!

BB-8 has an adaptive personality that changes as you play. Based on your interactions, BB-8 will show a range of expressions and even perk up when you give voice commands.     When I was 7, I received a huge Lego castle that my mom, my aunt and I spent all Christmas day putting together - it had drawbridges and knights and horses...and this was back when Lego was still hundreds of little pieces, not larger pre-fab parts...It think it was a 2000pc set - absolutely massive.

    My best Christmas present was my hope chest when I was 16. It was the only thing I wanted for Christmas that year and after all the gifts had been opened I started to cry as it truly was the only thing I had wanted and I hadn't asked for anything else. Then my mom pulled a blanket off of it. My mom had turned it on it's side and covered it with a blanket and I had been sitting beside it the whole time. I just never noticed it. I cried even more and now 26 years later my daughter has it in her room

    A kitchen set my dad built for me I remember it was 3 pieces and painted pink. He worked every evening on it for a month I could him cuting and hammering every night in the back room. Mom kept saying he is working on and extra bedroom I am the 7th child of 9. Today is the day my dad passed away 13 years ago think about him daily knowing he watching over us. As a child, it would be getting my first Lego box in 1974 when staying in Lyon due to the fact my dad was having training there. Mom and I had joined him for December.     As a kid, our family dog was hit by a car a couple of days before Christmas and injured quite badly. Initially the vet said she'd likely have to stay at the clinic after the operation for five days. We didn't know until later but my parents had been calling to check and as it turned out she was well enough to come home to us on Christmas day in the afternoon--the vet even popped in from his own festivities to give her the final okay before letting them bring her home. Best gift ever!

We had looked after them when he made a long distance move and when it was time for him to take them he told us at Christmas that he couldn't take them away from their "home".     I knew money was tight at home. I made my list for my parents, i put things that I thought were relatively affordable on my list, which I had prepared weeks before Christmas. 2 days before Christmas my dad asked me if I liked Nintendo. I told him I did but didn't put it on the list cause it was way too much. That Christmas I got everything on my list and was happy. All presents were opened. Then my dad comes out with one last gift and it was a Nintendo. I was super happy. Turns out my dad got a work bonus. That was the best gift ever, cause I really wanted it but didn't expect to get it

    Best "present" ever was probably the year I received my Nintendo Wii.....that was so exciting........but since my memory is not all that great, I KNOW that when I was a young kid....I DEFINITELY had even BETTER times......especially because it wasn't about the "gifts"......it was the memories of being with the family.....especially when my grandparents were still alive, too (oh, how I miss them so). But right now, because of health and depression, I've had a lot of trouble being able to even get through the holidays.......so I just want to get back to being able to "enjoy" the holidays again with my parents, my sister and family, the few friends I have, etc.........to me THAT would be the "best present ever".......sadly, it won't be this year......will it be next? I don't know either. Only time will tell, as will any changes in my health and willingness of doctors to help me, etc. In the meantime, having contests like this from you Tribute, lift my spirits, etc.....because it's a chance for me to "give" to my family (this one would go to my nephews if I'm lucky enough to be chosen)....because living on a disability income, I just don't have a chance to "give" like I used to.....and also with the holidays and my depression, etc.....I'm just not in the "spirit" to want to do anything either (it's just too emotional and difficult for me to handle at this time of year for so many reasons)......and sadly, not only do I suffer....but I know my family does as well when I'm not around to celebrate the holidays, too (not to mention other times of the year). So, thank you, Tribute...for this wonderful opportunity to win a great gift for my Nephews :)

    My best Christmas present ever was 10 years ago when my husband bought me a beautiful handmade mandolin. It was to replace the one I had that was trashed by university students during Homecoming in Kingston. I was so sad that it had been destroyed. Such a great loss to me. And so that Christmas he had found another handmade mandolin, one with beautiful mother of pearl on it. I was in tears! Just that he had gone out of his way to find another because he knew how much it mattered to me. So that was my best Christmas ever!!!!

    The best Christmas present I got came very unexpectedly. My family was robbed in the middle of the night, and we awake to no presents on Christmas Eve. When our local police force found out, they went around collecting donations, and gifts to replace the ones that were stolen, along with the misc. items taken from the home. The gift that was the most memorable was the Christmas card signed by members of the police force. It moved my family to tears.

    All the mom's in our family were given a family at one time or another. Then the rings are past down to daughters. I had two kids. Like most Christmas's hubby & I don't exchange gifts so we can spend the funds on our kids. So my shock was to get a family ring of my own. Hubby saved all year. He said it was from the kids.     Honestly I think the best gift I ever received was my memory foam mattress topper from my Mom when I was about 10 years old. I had the most uncomfortable bed in the house and the topper made it sooo much better. It then went on to provide comfort for me on my 5-month-long road trip, and in later years helped me adjust to many different couches/uncomfortable beds while trying to land a solid place to live! Best present ever. :)

    When I lived in Japan, an older gentleman used to visit the owner of the karaoke snack that I hung out at. He surprised me for Christmas with a carving that he made himself. It was made from a three-inch piece of tree branch about an inch and a half in diameter. He had carved it into six figures that neatly fit together so that on first glance it looked like just a piece of a branch, but you could separate the six figures to reveal their faces and bodies inside. I was so touched that he had spent many hours over several months working on this for me. It was better than any gift that anyone could buy for me. (^_^)

    Every single Star Wars toy I got as a child in the 80s. Between my sister and I, we had everything: the Death Star, the Falcon, the AT-AT, all the figurines and ships. And then my mom went on a cleaning spree when I was in Grade 10 and gave them all away without telling us. It still breaks my heart to think of it.     My best Hanukkah gift happened last year as having moved to Vancouver with my family, I was able to celebrate an early Hanukkah here in the GTA having my Bar Mitzvah. To be with all my GTA family and friends was the best (so far) Holiday I could ever have. Also the gift cheques were an added bonus as since I was 2 yr. old, I love money and motorcycles. I was able to buy lots of Lego's with my Bar Mitzvah $; to create intricate buildings, action figures, etc. is one of my favourite hobbies. Did I mention that my dad & I love anything Star Wars and Star Trek. Thanks.

    One of the best Christmas presents that I ever got was the first edition of "The Sims". I remember being in the 5th grade that year, around 10 years old and I didn't quite know what the game was. As I started to play it, I had so much fun creating my own characters, building and furnishing houses, and creating adventures for my sims. I'm currently in my early 20's and I still have so much fun playing the current editions of the game!

Mom & Dad were supposed to go in January with my brother and I staying at home with our grandparents but as my parents were leaving for a company Christmas party they surprised us saying we were all going to Hawaii the next week for a 2 week family trip.     I loved playing with Barbie dolls when I was a kid. One year my mom and dad had a local gentleman who was good with wood working make me custom furniture for my dolls and my mom sewed additional accessories for it. It was wonderful!
