Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, took a dinosaur-sized bite of profits at the weekend box office, earning the top spot. Last weekend's top film, Incredibles 2, also had a highly profitable second weekend.
This is the second time two films have opened with over $100 million back-to-back at the box office. The first time this happened was in 2007 when Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End opened with $114.7 million following Shrek the Third's $121.6 million opening the weekend prior.

The highly anticipated action/adventure Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom eviscerated its competitors, taking in $150 million in its opening weekend. Our users gave the film 3.6 out of 5 stars.
Incredibles 2 dropped one spot to second place, bringing in an impressive $80.9 million for an astonishing domestic total of $350.4 million in only its second weekend in theaters. Our users rated this film highly, giving 4.4 stars.
The all-star female cast of Ocean's 8 dropped a spot to third place this week, bringing in an additional $11.7 million for a domestic total of $100.4 million. Our users gave it a rating of 2.9 stars.
The comedy Tag, starring Jon Hamm, provided some comedic relief in fourth spot. In its second weekend in theaters, the film brought in an additional $8.2 million for a domestic total of $30.4 million. Our users gave it a rating of 3.7 stars.
Rounding out the top five was Deadpool 2, starring Ryan Reynolds as the lovable anti-hero. It brought in another $5.3 million for a total domestic total of $304.2 million in its sixth weekend in theaters. Our users give this film a review of 3.3 out of 5 stars. ~Ari Derin
