This year, so many amazing movies were released that we're wondering if 2019 can top it. We loved A Quiet Place, Mission: Impossible - Fallout and Searching, just to name a few. What Men Want (Feb 8) - A remake of the 2000 movie What Women Want, which starred Mel Gibson as an ad exec who's suddenly able to hear women's thoughts, this stars Taraji P. Henson as a sports agent who gets the ability to hear what men are thinking.

Captain Marvel (March 8) - Starring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, this is Marvel's first female superhero to get her own solo movie and it promises to be one of the biggest of the year.

Five Feet Apart (March 22) - This teen romance stars Haley Lu Richardson (Operation Finale) as Stella and Cole Sprouse (Riverdale) as Will: two teens who are hospitalized with cystic fibrosis, but with very different outlooks on their conditions. When they develop feelings for each other, things get risky.

Dumbo (March 29) - This live-action remake of the 1941 animated classic features the most adorable baby elephant, but with Tim Burton as the film's director, expect there to be some darkness mixed in with the cute.

Avengers: Endgame (May 3) - This Avengers sequel is highly anticipated by everyone who saw Avengers: Infinity War. Fans will finally get to see what happens with Thanos, who seemed successful in his bid to take over the world in the last installment.

Rocketman (May 17) - Taron Egerton has proven himself to be a chameleon, playing Eddie the Eagle, a Kingsman and most recently, Robin Hood. In this biopic, he plays music superstar Elton John.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (May 31) - This latest installment in the movie franchise has a stellar cast, including Oscar nominees Vera Farmiga and Sally Hawkins, Emmy winner Kyle Chandler and Stranger Things breakout star Millie Bobby Brown (a.k.a. Eleven) in her movie debut.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 (June 7) - Who didn't love all the animals we were introduced to in The Secret Life of Pets, even the evil bunny, Snowball? Although not much is known about the plot, we bet it's going to be just as funny and cute as the first one.

Dark Phoenix (June 7) - This X-Men installment is going to center on the character of Jean Grey, played by Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, as she begins to develop powers that turn her into a Dark Phoenix.

Men in Black: International (June 14) - This new Men in Black installment offers us Chris Hemsworth as Agent H and Tessa Thompson as Agent M. Emma Thompson returns as Agent O, while Liam Neeson also joins the cast.

Toy Story 4 (June 21) - Although not much is known about this latest installment in the Toy Story franchise, everyone agrees they are looking forward to it! What we do know is that the main voice cast will be returning as our favorite characters.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 5) - This is the second Spider-Man movie since Sony rebooted the franchise with Tom Holland in the starring role. In this one, Peter Parker goes on summer vacation with his friends to Europe, where he encounters the villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).

The Lion King (July 19) - If you loved the 1994 animated movie, your jaw will drop when you see how adorable baby Simba looks in the live action version. Directed by Jon Favreau (who helmed the critically acclaimed live action remake The Jungle Book), this movie is destined to be a hit.

Dora the Explorer (Aug 2) - If you have kids, you're well acquainted with the animated series Dora the Explorer. When Dora hits the big screen, it'll be all live action, starring talented teen actress Isabela Moner in the title role, alongside Mark Wahlberg's nephew Jeffrey Wahlberg as Dora's cousin, Diego.

Hobbs and Shaw (Aug 2) - As the title characters, who first appeared in several installments in the Fast and Furious franchise, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham have teamed up for this spinoff, which promises to provide tons of action.

The New Mutants (Aug 2) - This is another X-Men movie, this time focusing on a next generation of mutants and starring Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams, Stranger Things’ Charlie Heaton and Split’s Anya Taylor-Joy. These young mutants are imprisoned in a secret facility against their will when they discover their abilities.

It: Chapter Two (Sept 6) - Based on the second half of Stephen King's novel It, this movie takes place almost 30 years after the first one, with the kids from the Loser's Club now all grown up, when Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård) reenters their lives.

Joker (Oct 4) - This origin story is expected to be a gritty character study of the complicated and eccentric criminal, and with Oscar-nominee Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, we're expecting big things from this film.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (Oct 18) - Following in the success of last year's critically acclaimed documentary, Won't You Be My Neighbor (previously titled You Are My Friend), Tom Hanks plays Fred Rogers in this biopic about the host and creator of the popular and groundbeaking television show, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.

Frozen 2 (Nov 22) - It was inevitable that there would be a sequel to Frozen. With the first one a massive hit that was turned into a Broadway show in 2018, the cast of the original movie, including Kristen Bell as Anna and Idina Menzel as Elsa, will be back.

Jumanji 2 (Dec 13) - Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was one of the biggest box office hits of 2017. Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart are confirmed to reprise their roles in the sequel.
