While the movie was freaky and good - I felt it was a bit of a let down.

The previews present the movie as a horror film, when in fact it was a drama. And the storyline was predictable, and nothing that kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

A terrific ensemble cast supports a career-defining performance from Natalie Portman. Nightmarish, bizarre, Aronofsky's vision is on par with great films from the past, such as Repulsion. I never thought I'd see a film where Vincent Cassel is the sanest person in the room. Nor would I have envisioned taking mace to a ballet. Recommended.

Definately a trippy movie. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 16 - some scenes are crazy-sexual (moreso than most I've ever seen)! The ending is quite good - leaves you wanting more.

Black Swan is a captivating psychological thriller. Natalie Portman does an amazing job playing tortured ballerina Nina obsessed with being perfect. This is definitely one to see!
