Great movie. Very similar to the original but the dancing was much better.

This is an entertaining remake.

I was skeptical as to how good this remake could possibly be, as I am not a big fan of remakes in general. However, I was surprised by how true it stayed to the story line of the original and it was actually quite fun to watch. It definitely made me want to join in on the dancing too!

I think this will be even more powerful, and heart pumping than the lst one....Kevin Bacon was amazing, but the new crew will bring it just as much if not more....looking forward to seeing the whole movie soon..

This movie was actually a lot better than I was expecting it to be. I was thinking they should have just left the original as is with Kevin Bacon and not meessed with it, however I have to admit that the actor playing Ren in this remake did a really good job!

This is a good remake.

Footloose is one of those rare remakes that works on all levels. This is largely because of Craig Brewer's deft direction and his screenplay co-written by Dean Pitchford. The casting of Juliane Hough and Kenny Wormald in the lead roles is what makes this film along with its stellar choreography from Jamal Sims. Worth seeing.

I enjoyed this movie and highly recommend it. The music was great, there was a lot of action and fun to watch.

If didn't see the original Footloose I would not have known that this was a remake!

If you were one who saw the original, then I'm not so sure you'll like this version. I "liked" it but I think you would enjoy it more if this was the first time. Also can't believe that there was no role in this movie for Kevin Bacon ???

Being a huge fan of the original I wasn't sure how I would like a remake but it was fantastic! Upbeat and alot of fun:)

This was an amazing remake. Just as good, if not better than the original. I laughed, cried and pretty much smiled through the whole movie!

I'd give this a 3.5 if possible. It was a pretty similar version of the original, with a better looking cast.

I like the dancing and the music, it was okay for a remake. But the rules that city council set on the town were quite laughable considering it is 2011, and not the 80's.

I really liked the this movie. The music and dancing was fabulous. I must admit though it didn't replace my love for the original!
