The best thing about this film is the chemistry between Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson -- it is just fantastic! They are a joy to watch and really make their scenes come alive! They just keep getting better and better as Harry and Hermione, and I can`t wait to see their performances in OotP (the next film). The twins were another highlight of the film, their humour was a nice distraction from the intensity. I also loved (LOVED!) Jason Isaacs as Lucius ... wow. He only has two scenes, but he steals the whole show. Just a delicious, gorgeous bit of evil. Overall, though, it felt very rushed and choppy (which is to be expected, I guess,

I thought Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was a good all around movie. However, I am dissapointed that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire didn`t stay that faithful to the book. It still was an entertaining movie though.

Tuesday, November 22, 07:19:58 AM

I really liked the movie. I would say it is rushed, but my husband (who hasn`t read the books) didn`t notice, and understood that was going on. The only people who will think people are confused are the ones that read it. I was disapointed however, with the way they are portraying Dumbledore. The first Dumbledore was better (which is unfortunate), but they could have picked a new actor and kept him true to Dumbledore`s character. For example in the movie when Harry`s name is pulled from the Goblet of Fire, and they go to the room and Dumbledore bursts in and basically strangles Harry and shouts at him, thats not what Dumbledore would do,

its good and yet its also missing parts of the book i wish was in there.but what th writer took from the book and used in the movie did work fine. best out of the series so far. im still worried about the next book being so big it wont capture the movie feel in a 2 hr or so movie

Tuesday, November 22, 01:06:44 AM

Great film. Yes I too would have like to have seen additonal scenes from the book, but alas artistic vision wins. Could it have been longer - absolutely. Can`t wait for the next film and book 7. Congratulations to all! /c from LONDON Ontario

This was absouletelt the best movie I have ever see in my entire life!! Daniel, Rupert and Emma are all so talented. If you havent seen it you are missing out on one of the best movies of the century!!!! See it :D

Monday, November 21, 11:40:03 PM

Ok I saw the movie ...... The BEST movie of the YEAR and that is saying something have not read the books but I could tell some things where missing but over all a great movie to go see and will see again. (P.S. the lord of the ring was missing alot of the story but still came out with a great moives so take a deep breath and just enjoy the ride.)(PPS yes wish they had more of the world cup stuff would make a great movie just a little better.)

Monday, November 21, 10:23:40 PM

THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!Daniel Radcliffe is so hot!!!Definitly worth the hour- long wait in line.

Monday, November 21, 10:14:35 PM

This movie was very dissapointing to me as I am a huge Harry Potter book fan. The special effects in this movie were much better but other then that the plot left out too many important things in the book, you hardly see any of the characters trying to figure out things like they do in the book. I wish PETER JACKSON made this movie, it would have been so much better then because the LOTR books were huge too but so well converted into a movie.

Monday, November 21, 09:48:01 PM

Great movie, a lot more action and magic then the previous ones... Can`t wait to see the last three.

Monday, November 21, 09:09:48 PM

THE BEST OF THE 4!!! INCREDIBLE & BREATHTAKING!!!

Monday, November 21, 08:36:20 PM

A good Potter film. Director did a good job of trimming the book but perhaps trimmed a bit too thoroughly. It comes across a bit superficial at times and ignores some material that would have been awsome on film. Some tie ins to book five are missing giving license to further cutbacks in the next movie. Definitely worth seeing but if you haven`t read the book do so because it will enhance the movie.

Monday, November 21, 07:28:38 PM

My personal opinion? The best of the best! Excellent, awesome, magical.

Monday, November 21, 06:57:40 PM

This was an extremely awesome movie!!! it helps that daniel radcliffe is extremely hot!! ;P

Monday, November 21, 06:50:23 PM

it was great but definately didnt do the book justice!!! Holmes and i had a blast!!!

Monday, November 21, 06:49:43 PM

This movie was great. Considering the fact that the book is just under 650 pages, i think they`ve done a very good job of condensing it into one film. You`re never going to please everybody with what has been left out, but all the important stuff is still there. The film is visually stunning, the effects are great and there is much more humour and emotion than in the other 3 films. It also moves along at a much faster pace which is a refeshing change. 2 thumbs up, and i hope to see it again before the DVD comes out.

Monday, November 21, 06:19:43 PM

I personally loved the new HP movie. BUT i do think they should have made it into 2 movies and kept all the interesting details they cut out. Like the forest scene with Krum and Harry, The houseelves, more of the tournament, the little quirks that were in the maze in the book but not the movie, they may be small things but they were definitely an important part.

Monday, November 21, 06:16:28 PM

Rupert Grint is sooo hot in this movie. And the movie is just amazing! I give the movie 1 000 000 out of 5 stars! :P

Monday, November 21, 05:51:59 PM

Overall, I think this was a well done movie. I understand that they had to summarize the book for time`s sake and omit some parts of the book, but I was a bit disappointed with this film. I would have liked it to focus more on the Harry, Ron and Hermione`s life at Hogwarts and things that relate them more to today`s teens. Though, I did feel that the actors were amazing I just hoped it could have been a bit more true to the book.

Monday, November 21, 05:39:56 PM

I think it was a very cool movie! I liked the acting of Rupert Grant, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliff. The actor playing Dumbledore is a great actor! I wish the movie was longer!!

Monday, November 21, 05:22:59 PM

Ok, I`m a BIG Harry Potter fan, I have read all the books, seen all the movies and read and write on Fanfiction.net(I am Demon`s Moon). I think it was pretty good, DEFINATELY better than the last one! I mean, they made Sirius look like a HOBO!!!!! SERIOUSLY! The Dark Mark was pretty cool although it wasn`t at all what I expected it to look like. Cho`s accent changed between American, British and Scottish. DECIDE PLEASE! I rate it a 4/5 stars due to rushing.

Monday, November 21, 05:09:38 PM

This was definately the best one yet, although I was a little miffed at the hints of a possible Harry/Hermione couple. I`m sorry, I just despise that pairing, Harry/Ginny is just SOOOOO much better. Besides, Harry/Ginny is canon(It`s in the books)!! I`m also pissed at the lack of World Cup scenes. I feel like I`m kind of lucky to have already read the book already, because if I hadn`t, I would definately be confused. The director probably should have made it two movies instead of one.

Monday, November 21, 05:04:52 PM

For the most part, the movie was good, although it was a bit rushed.

Monday, November 21, 05:04:12 PM

HARRY POTTER IS ONE OF THE FEW CONSISTENT MOVIES OUT THERE DEFINATELY WORTH SEEING

Monday, November 21, 04:19:51 PM

What?!?! There are absolutely NO scenes from the Quidditch world cup??!?!?!??! Where are the Dursleys? Where is Dobby? why didn`t the director just make two movies in stead of trying to cram everything into one

Monday, November 21, 03:14:55 PM

I think that this movie was absolutely amazing. Now I don`t know how people can say that it`s terrible because I mean...think what you can really fit into a time slot for a movie...not a whole lot. I loved it. I was so excited before, during and after the film. Congratulations to the cast and crew of Harry Potter for making these films a truly wonderful experience.

Monday, November 21, 03:04:03 PM

Well i saw Harry Potter last night and i must say i am severely disapointed. First off, the begining of the movie races through a good 10 chapters in a matter of minutes, leaving out alot of stuff. Second, the tasks aren`t well done at all. The dragon part is okay, but the second task is not at all what i expected and the maze was a total letdown. The blast-ended screwits, sphynx and giant spider we`re all cut out, not to mention the entire part with Krum was totally off. I also found that all the events and scenes of the movie were just not made big enough. It seems that Hogwarts has very little students and that there is almost no crowd. Th

Monday, November 21, 03:02:32 PM

emma watson is sssssssoooooooooooooooooo fit and good lookin but it was a great and a must see film it was wicked and unbelievable but Emma Watson(hermione) was great looking in the yule ball

Monday, November 21, 02:56:58 PM

Deinately my favourite one yet. It was a very fair summary othe book given that they had to omit much of the content. It was a "soild" film. kudos to mike newell

Monday, November 21, 02:27:03 PM

Best one yet. Very dark! I loved the fight with the dragon.

Monday, November 21, 02:12:34 PM

It was amazing, and covered the most important aspects of the book very well.

Monday, November 21, 01:59:57 PM

My whole family thought it was the best Harry Potter movie thus far. Daniel Radcliffe is an amazing actor. What an amazing experience. My son is a huge Harry Potter fan and I could not get him out of his theatre chair. He was just taken back by how well done the movie was, as we all where. Thank you to all involved in making this Harry Potter movie. This Hutsebaut family gave it 6 out of 5 stars. TRULY AMAZING.

Monday, November 21, 01:51:37 PM

Daneil Radcliffe is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo friggin` hot!!!

Monday, November 21, 01:21:06 PM

It was still a good movie, but I don`t think it was up to the normal standards that the other ones were. I felt there was a lot of the story missing and if I hadn`t read the book I think I would have had a hard time following what was going on.

Monday, November 21, 11:15:36 AM

Very good movie, story moved very quick. It wouold be hard to follow if you have not read the books. Not really for kids though.

Monday, November 21, 10:48:23 AM

It was okay but some of the plot points from the book were left out. It seemed to be missing a lot of dialogue and it was almost as if the director was trying to cram a 3 and a half hour movie into 2 hours and 40 minutes. I guess after reading the book I expected more.

Monday, November 21, 09:24:22 AM

I was so awsome!!! I love it! I laughed, i cried, i even yelled for joy!!The scene where he takes a bath oooooooooo love it!! He worked so hard for that scene too!! I saw it two times and i am going to see it again and again until it comes out on video!! It is such a great movie if you are a harry potter fanatic see this movie!!! It is better than all three combine together!

Monday, November 21, 08:09:49 AM

It was amazing. It is the best of all the four parts of Harry Potter. Harry Potter and Hermaini acted excellent in the movie as they are now at the age of 15.

Monday, November 21, 03:17:23 AM

Awesome. Great CG!

Monday, November 21, 01:17:47 AM

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire completely excells over the first three. If Daniel Radcliffe can make me cry, then he must have grown as an actor. Everybody did an amazing job. The effects were outta this world, especially with the dragon. I understand that they skipped alot of the parts in the book, but if you would like to sit in those theatre chairs for about 4 hours just to add all that happened in the novel, then be my guest(even though it wold have been worth it). This film was an emotionally gripping, edge of your seat, faced paced ride! Go and see it now!
