5 minutes into it I asked the kids if they wanted to leave. I hated it from beginning to end. Waste of 91 minutes and $30.

all these people are saying this movie is scary but to me this movie is inappropriate for kids under the age of 8 .but for me it was lame

My kids can`t get enough of it seen it three times already canm`t wait for it to come on dvd.

I thought it was a cute scary movie, the animation was really good, it this movie not been animated I think it would be way to scary

Just ok, 5 year old was a little scared but liked it.

I did not enjoy the movie. Although the animation was good, the characters were outrageous and completely unbelievable. This movie is not for children. It is quite frightening and may appeal to teenagers. This movie is also not fot adults--NO STORYLINE, TOO CORNY--HATEFUL TOWARDS FAT PEOPLE.

Watching it in 3-D was pretty good, but the images did not really "pop out" at the audience, compared to Spy Kids 3-D. However the movie was very entertaining and the story was well developed. One warning, though, it has some plot points near the end that will be very disturbing/scary for young children. Overall, very good film.

Seen it once & that was enough

Not bad. After reading the reviews and seeing the names of some of the cast I was expecting something a bit better. It was an okay movie but I wouldn`t rate it as highly as some of the critics` reviews I`ve seen.

21 years old now and trying to change it up from all the action-blood-sex movies that are a craze for our age; my friend and i went to see monster house and found a change that was more worthy than we anitcipated. It was funny and takes you back to being a kid in suspense for your animated friends, who now, you can look at and relate to from your own childhood imagination. Good movie for both parents or older siblings to take the younger ones too.

I took my 3 sons to the movie and they loved every minute of it!

Took 3 children to see this movie and was disappointed. It was not only scary, but had a story line that jumped all over the place. Do not recommend this movie to children under the age of 8. My husband and I thought it was awful and certainly not a "family" movie. 1 star rating

I took my son age 6 to watch it and I have to say this was one scary movie for animation. I was even scared. My son had to cover his eyes and ask me to tell him when that part was over but he loved it and wanted to see it again.

All of us like it - ages 13 to 46!

A good movie for kids my nephew loved it!! Wants to see it again but in 3D.

I didn`t expect much and I wasn`t disappointed. Boring....

The trailers led me to believe that this would be a better movie than it was. Not really a family movie if any member is under 10. Kind of boring.

i found the characters to be a bit ridiculous. I have taken my children to a lot of movies and this is the first one that i wasnt impressed with in quite some time.

i found the graphics a little choppy. Ok movie but not something I`d go see twice. A little to far off from halloween movie season if you as me.

i felt that the overall movie was disapponting. The animation was wonderful,but the storyline was not.It was all over the place. My 6year and 13 year old did not find it enjoyable either. I thought the movie would have been funnier.

Best Movie of the Year. I think..this is the movie that will breakthe bank...Great Animation, I just loved it...and if nothing else is should win best animation ofthe year. Two thumbs way way up!!!

Found the Movie too scary for younger children

I thought it was a terrific movie. It intrigued not only the younger audience, but adults alike. Would definately recommend to friends to see.

I found it to be hilarious and worth while to see. You`ll enjoy the movie! It had some really suspense parts in it as well for an animated film!

Enjoyed the movie

Took the kids and it was an excellent movie. We all completely enjoyed it. Even the six-year-old thought it was a very good movie.

Monster House is not just a movie for kids. Adults will find it surprisingly funny and unusually dark for an animated feature.

I THOUGHT MONSTER HOUSE WAS A REALLY GOOD MOVIE, BUT THE PART WHERE HE WAS DREAMING AND THE HAND WENT TO GRAB HIM REALLY SCARED ME.

Our youngest daughter found it scary, but the rest of us older folk loved it!
