Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical

I‘ve seen both the 1996 movie and the stage musical, so had some expectations for this remake. It’s sticking close to the musical, while dropping a few subplots but in turn adding some new twists and a nice epilogue. Casting and acting are great, a bit too much "political correctness" for my taste (Mrs. Phelps a Hippie bus librarian? … give me a break) and an overdose of CGI in the ending scene. Too bad it’s exclusively on Netflix, would be nice to have it on media.
