Not a Bond movie! Total disappointment. Lots of people are only saying it is good because media hyped it.

One of the very best Bond films since I was a kid. Loved it!

Weak plot...too much emphasis on aging. Really an insult to vibrant 50 somethings. Jame Bond is supposed to be battling evil doers looking for world domination not whining about getting older. So where will Bond go from here?

how can they hype this as the greatest bond movie ever? If your celebrating 50 years of this franchise I should be seeing action every 15 0r 20 minutes!this movie was ok but not worth a full price ticket. Jason Stathmas' "Safe" was 10 times better than this and it didn't get the press that this movie is getting

My least favourite Bond movie of all time. Difficult to put a finger on, but in the last three Bonds something is missing. Even the original, typical background Bond soundtracks are brought back to a minimum. Nice intro song, though.

3.5 ***. Casino Royale is better. The introduction of the villain should have been much earlier. Also, I expected a darker more sadistic villain. Goodbye Judi. You will be missed.

Ok, but probably the least amount of action I've ever seen in a bond movie...dare I say, a bit boring?

Cinematography great. Acting very good. Story decent Not enough flare for a bond flick. At the end of the day no matter how real you wanna make it, its entertainment, make it entertaining.

My favourite bond movie of all time!!!

I liked it; however, I can see why some people didn't, especially those who are used to Bond movies featuring beautiful women throughout the entire movie, an endless array of funky escapist gadgets, and the "ultra-cool" Bond character of the Roger Moore years. However, this movie taken on it's own merits is nicely photographed, has good action sequences, and is overall a good movie. I personally think Daniel Craig plays a good Bond.

Back to basics Bond. Loved it. Javier Bardem is one of the best, creepiest Bond villans. All the little odes to Bond history were wonderful touches! I forgive you for the last one, which as AWFUL!

Weak, boring and half way through, I wanted M killed. The villain was too gay(not that there is anything wrong with that.) I did not feel for the hero and wanted the movie to end after about an hour. Sorry

The action was intense.

Except for the last twenty minutes... Boring! Great acting by the main villain was the best part. RAN

So So... Definitely not the best Bond ever and certainly not the worst. Acting was good, Cinematography was awesome... storyline and script was just OK... Does not live up to "Best Bond Ever" hype... that's for sure.

I too found it boring. Story line was dull and inconsistent, dialogue was so so, Judi Dench acted like she was on tranquilizers, Craig was just being his usual Craig, and Bardem ? Ho Hum. Even Q was uninteresting The only sparkle came from the new Moneypenny. If I had gone alone to this movie I would have walked out.

Wow. It was pretty darn good. Javier Bardem was one of the strangest criminals in the series for sure. I liked that this one brought the fight to Bond's backdoor literally. It's good to see him finally vulnerable but still on top of his game pushing it to the limit.

I found this movie to be very boring! I had high hopes but all the hype was in the trailer with all the good parts. I almost fell asleep half way through. I would say the beginning and the end were the best parts...the middle was slow, lacking action and excitement with a storyline that wasnt interesting.

I keep saying it, the three new Bond movies are just spy movies with the Bond name. Like chanting Bond, Bond, Bond but you are watching a different movie. Just watch Bourne and replace the names to Moneypenny, M and Bond and there you go, Bond Movie. Could have just called it another name and it would have been fine, just not a Bond film. Unless the early works of the author was like this then yes, would explain why they would start with Dr.No.

ALL of the best scenes are in the previews. Very disappointing. All hype, no delivery. Who's this director? How do you screw up a Bond movie? This many ppl giving it good reviews - can't be legit.

I really enjoyed this movie!!! Worth the money to go see it on the big screen. Lots of intense action, great acting and great plot. I loved Javier Bardem here too. Highly recommend!!!

Best Bond movie I have ever seen.

so after all, Quantum of Solace, The Spy who Loved me & Moonraker have compagnies, one of the worst Bond's movies, why? no catchy tune during the opening credit, no real henchmen, Javer as 2 scenes, not even worth mentionning, compare to every actor that played Blofeld he is lame, only 2 scenes are worth the price of admission, M reading her husband' favorite poetry, related to her decision about Bond, & finally the scenes where Javer & Craig are facing each other for the first time!

Not happy with this Bond compared to the other two. Not enough action and when there was it was just lame. No gadgets, no good chases, just a good movie to fall asleep to. went with three other people and we all dozed off. Thanks Bond

One of the best Bond films I've seen. Highly recommend!

Best Bond Villian ever. Best Bond Director. Best Bond Film period. Best Twitching Dark Red Lips on a Bond Girl right before she gets shot in the head. Best politically correct mixed race Moneypenny. Best actual acting scene when M dies in Bond's arms. Best Albert Finney line "Welcome to Scotland" as he blows a hole in a bad guy with a sawed off shot gun. Four breasts (two from Craig), some oversized booty, buckets of blood, great subway derailing, good old Bond film references and nice use of the Astin Martin machine gun headlights. Four Stars. Joe Bob says check it out!

Best Craig Bond yet, by far. Take the some of the old, some of the new, and shake. Dont stir. VERY good movie. Loved it.

This has to be one of the best Bond films in a long time. Daniel Craig is 'Bond' - a multifaceted character - who displays a very human side not shown by the other actors who portrayed James bond. A definite 'to see' movie.

i just watched this movie last night with my family and we all loved it. we are such james bond fans and i loved how they tied it all together and adele sang the theme song just awesome.

first off,i'm a fan of the bond films,but my rating isnt skewed because of it, as a film lover in general. that being said,most critics and moviegoers agree this is one of the best bonds ever,and i have to agree. while not filled to the brim with action set-pieces,there are enough to satisfy. there is a little humour,great score,and best of all, quite a few nods to the original connery era bond flicks. highly recommended,and well worth the theatre cost, as its worth seeing on the big screen.

Great Bond movie, but I wish they'd gotten Guns 'n' Roses to do another Bond song.
