I thought this movie rocked! As one of many who grew up with Spider-man, I was very happy to see that the movie kept with the comic book line! Tobey Maguire, surprised me and made a great Peter Parker.

Spider-man was a total upset. The movie trailers looked great, but when I saw the movie I was very disappointed. The special effects were amazing, the acion and stunts were great and the acting was o.k., but the plot totally lacked. There wasn`t any story line. I only hope that they learned from this mistake and make the next one have a deeper story. If you really want to see a good movie go see Austin Powers Gold Member!

I thought it was Fan-tastic! I just hope they don`t ruin it like they did "batman" different caracters for each movie...i hope kirsten and tobey remain the main caracters for the sequels!!

Spider-man was definately worth the wait. It lives up to all the hype and far exceeded my expectations. The special effects are of the ground-breaking variety and will no doubt spawn countless clones and knock-off movies. My prediction is that Spider-man will be to this generation`s kids what Star Wars was to previous generation`s children.

Spiderman was fantastic...I`m still upset over the special fx though. The "swinging through the buildings" in New York was a bit cartoonish...definitely. But well worth money and my two hours (or so):)

I`ve been reading Spider-Man comics for the last 15 years and I was really impressed with this movie. I think that it is the best movie I have seen this year and I cannot wait to buy the DVD on November 1st. I hope that the film makers are able to reproduce this success when they do parts 2 & 3.

Ever since i watched spiderman i have been totally obsessed with it and i even watch the cartoons of spiderman and Tobey maguire was so brill in it and i cant stop thinking about him and he is so gorgeous! And i cant wait to see spiderman 2 in 2004 and i wish i met tobey so badly and i love him!

Tobey Maguire was a good choice for the actor to portray Spiderman. He has that self-indulging characteristic that makes you belive that Spiderman was created to be played by Maguire!
