Star Trek

You will love the opening sequence, will make you cry. The music and the intro is unbeatable, when you first see the enterprise it's epic with that music. This is refreshing and they have allowed star trek to grow for another 40 years, live long and prosper!

The chemistry between Kirk and McCoy/Spock is dead on, I watched every episode and this is up there with mirror mirror and city on the edge of forever. You have to see this for yourself, I found r2d2 in the movie!

One of those films you can watch 10 times, awesome!!!

The most amazing Star Trek movie ever; even better then ST2. I hope they use JJ for at least 2 more as he really "nailed it".

More like a teen flick than anything. No sense of maturity or even a hint of reality in this film. 17 year old kid at the helm, 25 year old captain of the flagship(enterprise), common you gotta be kidding. This movie is ridiculous in every sense of the word and does not hold a candle to movies like The Wrath of Khan, The Undiscovered Country, First Contact. There was no character development in the villain. He was boring and unrealistic. The entire conflict in the story is not fluid and quite frankly, doesnt make sense. I left the movie thinking, what was this movie even about.

Excellent movie. You don't have to be a Trekkie or Trekker to enjoy it. Action packed and full of tongue in cheek.

Very good plot and good pace of the movie. Introduction of a new breed of familiar characters with updated storyline. A great watch for both hardcore trekkies and casual fan. Had a strong ending and set up well for future films

I never liked star trek, but after reading all these positive reviews, I had to see it and WOW. The music is good bump inducing and I loved the special effects and Pike.

Fantastic movie!! Should have been a 5 star but the ridiculous over use of lens flare during filming made it look like poor cinemetography instead of an attempt at an artistic effect. Otherwise outstanding!!

This was by far the most amazing movie i have seen in a really long time. And Spock and Scottie are very very good looking if i do say so myself

Excellent! As a previous trekkie I was hesitant but I took someone else's word for it and found it to be exciting, refreshing, great selection of characters and action-paced. A job well done by all. Thanks to JJ Abrams.

This is not a GREAT film or movie. It is fun though. The story line is week and full of enexplained gaps. Most of the actors look as if they are still in high school (they run a Starship ????). Most of the characters did not even finish their academy studies. Go figure. If it were not for the special effects this movie would be a laugh (Starship Troopers style)BUT it does have those effects and a whole lot of action, explosions, references to old Star Trek episodes. The effects and action make this movie a must to see on the big screen because it won't work on the little video screen. Go, have fun, actively suspend your disbelief, munch on some popcorn.

Everyday Star Trek is proving all the haters wrong, stop hating and go see it for yourself! Don't feel ashamed this film is amazing.

Quinto and Pine has great chemistry here, Karl Urban is wickedly good.

If your a trekkie, you'll for sure like it. Also if you like science fiction its a must see.Is it the best movie of the year..no but its close
