I despise star trek, but I must admit this was a very good movie.

A must see, see this if you haven't already. Miles ahead of the crappy star wars films and the most recent star trek ones. Shatner wishes he was in this epic film. 6 stars

Finally a good star trek

Paramount has done the impossible and made star trek cool and for everyone, ship has been nicely redesigned also. Only complaint was, it's only 2hours!

This is one of my favourites next to Wrath of Khan and First Contact, very well done. Should win a few awards and allow for more movies.

better than I expected.. I am a fan of star trek (although I hadn't watched much of the original series) and thought this movie wouldn't be as good but surprisingly entertaining.

Having been a Trekker all my life, I was skeptical if the extremely talented JJ Abrahms could take on such a monumental task of a Reboot of this franchise....boy was I wrong...I was absolutely blown away!!! Thanks!!

This is how you create a blockbuster. Original epic music, special effects, up coming actors, great script and director. Academy awards are waiting. Look up Michael Giacchino, this guy is due for a Oscar. Bravo.

AWESOME! Too bad they took it off Imax so soon for another movie that really did not require Imax, or I would have seen it on there. A must see of the summer.

Great movie! The way they set it up so they could make future movies without stepping on the toes of past films was brilliant.

This movie is definitely over rated, it is good, but still....

It was a complete teen flick. Not bad, but a teen flick.

Will be the movie of 2009. Wolverine wasn't good and Terminator was average, now if Transformers 2 sucks, Star Trek will be the film of 2009, who would have thought?! A+ 5/5

Phony unlikely creepy Kirk background. Kirk deserves better. Dated - not good soundtrack. Original series still sounds as good as it always did. Pretty good movie though. Fine for people who don't think they like star trek. Not bad at all.

wife cried twice, she's not into star trek and she wants to see this again...get out of the basement and watch this film already.

Ignore the haters, this is a must see. Epic movie, music and special effects. 5 out of 5.
