Sandler's best movie to date.
Before checking him out as the Green Lantern, see Sandler as The Cobbler!
I really don't think miscreants would get anything out of this movie. Recommended for everyone else, though.
Highly recommended for thugs, mother seducers, voyeurs and other miscreants. This film is a complete lesson in failing as a human being and that is really good for all if us wanting to be the worst we can be. Welcome to the Dark Side!
No one ever went broke underestimating the stupidity of the American public....except the producers of this pile of trash. They will never pay to make another Sandler film...ever!
Sandler will be buying Sony outright with the proceeds of his very next movie. Really!
It's not the smell so much as the burning in my eyes. Give up the charade, Sandler. You are in the wrong line of work.
****Pee Wee Herman Quality****
Depends on what your definition of Atrocious is
If this is Sandler's best, just how bad are the rest of his films? Can they be at least used for compost?
A rumor circulating says they threatened to kill Hoffman's dog if he didn't cooperate.
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis made a great team too. Acceptable Comedy? No.
Loved it -- Sandler and Hoffman make a great team!
The best cobbler movie ever made by an underachieving, lackluster, "why am I here?" Adam Sandler. He shows absolutely no motivation or energy in this cinematic flop. Time for a career change.
The best cobbler movie ever made! Sandler gives his all!
Quote: "Mister Sandler doesn't need negative reviews to make him look bad...he does it all on his own."
Anyone taking an innocent child to this abomination deserves to have the State raise those kids.
Kids may not know what a cobbler is, but that's balanced out by Sandler not knowing what acting is and Thomas McCarthy with Paul Sado not knowing what directing and screenwriting are. I wouldn't torture any child with this sad, sad, sad excuse for a movie.
LOVE THIS MOVIE! Most kids today have no idea what a cobbler is, but this flick makes it fun to learn!
A mean and petty film. It also serves to spread ugly stereotypes of the African American experience. Don't waste your precious time on this excrement.
This is Sandler's best and it's STILL a crime? That certainly doesn't say much for everything else he's ever done. A lifetime of producing worse than criminal crap is not something to be proud of.
This thing is a TURKEY and should have been titled The Gobbler.
Such a wonderfully funny and heartwarming flick -- one of Sandler's best! If that's a crime these days, so be it!
Sandler is back? The man is completely oblivious to shame. After what he's done to the entertainment industry? If it were me, I'd spend the rest of my days wailing in the wilderness and cursing what I had done.
Sandler's back? I hadn't realized there was a statute of limitations on murdering cinema.
Sandler's back and funnier than ever!
For Sandler to merely disappoint would be an all time high in his career.
Loved it was awesome. Love Adam saddler.
The number of bad reviews here exceeds the worldwide total DVD sales of this steaming pile.
This film makes me want to go shoeless for the rest of my life. I live in Arctic Canada.
Anyone who can make Jerry Lewis look like a comic genius deserves the highest praise. Congratulations, Mr. Sandler.
Frannie's feet predates this abomination by a few years. If you are going to 'borrow' a script why not take the good stuff too?
Rod Serling's Twilight Zone tv series had an episode called Dead Man's Shoes. Wearing the shoes transformed the wearer into the deceased mobster.
It doesn't matter what your definition of 'awful' is. This film exceeds it.
PBS kid's show Frannie's Feet centers around a girl who plays in her grandfather's shoe repair store. She has adventures in different people's shoes. Coincidence?
Reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode "Dead man's shoes".
I hadn't tealized Smell-O-Vision had arrived. It's less than pleasant.
Looks as though Tom McCarthy won't be letting Adam help out with the directing ever again....
I felt bad because I had no shoes....until I met a man with no talent.
Just another cookie cutter piece of trash from the Sandler Assembly Line of Mediocrity.
