The Good Shepherd

Almost as bad as the movie Vanilla Sky...casts` talent was wasted..very slow and dull....sorry I wasted precious shopping time on Boxing Day for this one...

A very slow moving montotonous tone. It could have used some action scenes to get some adrenalin going.

Deniro should stick to acting, this was 2 hours and 40 mins of Matt Damon looking stoic and "acting" emotion-less...all other reviews hit the mark, PAINFULLY SLOW with no payoff at the end. Suggest you be like the I N G guy and "save your money"

Slow moving. The movie could have been one and a half hour shorter and not lost anything. Too much riding, walking, looking,and staring.

Boring, plodding, dull, depressing. If you must watch it, wait for the DVD and save your money.

Wow this movie just doesnt get anymore exciting then the first 5 minutes. Don`t wait til the end for something to happen. Definitely top 5 most boring.

Every year the academy of motion pictures elects the top movies for nominations for best picture....some of the electees are somewhat questionable"eybrow raisers" if you may...point being is that thoses films are usally movies with fantastic cast memebers and great acting...trouble is the movie just plain sucks. The Good Shepard fits the bill...good acting,great cast...yada yada yada...but 2 thumbs down...wait till it comes out on dvd.

An intelligent movie !

If you are having a hard time sleeping at night I suggest going to see this movie cause it will put you right to sleep! What a terrible movie, it is soooooooo slow I didn`t even stay for the whole thing it was that bad. What a waste of a good cast. take my advice and don`t go see it in the theaters and I wouldn`t even rent it unless you need to catch up on some sleep!

why was there almost no real dialogue in this movie? lol

if you need sleep go see this film best two hour nap you`ll ever get for price of admission. best part of movie is the trailers save time don`t waste your money.should be on dvd in a week or two and i still would not waste money to buy it then.

I have never walked out of a movie before, no matter how bad it was. However, i elected to leave the theatre after an hour of the Good Shepherd. Honeslty i have to say that this movie is a complete waste of a fantastic cast. Theres way too much nonsense going on, and i truy believe that the director struck out on this one. After an hour of watching, there was absolutely no distinguishable conflict, no linear storyline, and worst of all, no character development. One of the most confusing aspects of the movie deals with matt damon being portrayed as an older middle aged man, with plenty of flashbacks dating 30 years prior. Ridiculously, Damon
