The Hunger Games

may have rated higher if i hadn't read the book first. normally love woody harelson but he disappointed in the role of haymitch. flashback scenes made the flow a little choppy but overall, entertaining.

it was fairly entertaining.

the movie really brought the book to life and gave me a good visual of what i was reading about.

lives up to the hype. 5 stars. you can never replicate the magic of the book on the first read but seeing this adaptation is like watching fireworks, loved it!

people sometime complain when movies leave out major sections of books or when he movie just doesn't do the book justice. in this case i believe that the movie was very true to the book the casting of jennifer lawrence was also a verygood choice, she is very believable as katnis.
