My husband loved it but l not so much. I thought Tarzan wasnt Tarzanie enough. Jane seemed to have more spunk. I liked the review that there was too much fake made up animals. It made me laugh. Like yes...Put in real gorillas and we would have a new theme.... Thr review Tar Sands was fuuny too. All in all l gave it 3 stars as it was pointed out to me, all of tarzans best moments was when l was sleeping. Ù
I have been a Tarzan fan for 40 years and the movie The Legend of Tarzan did not disappoint! I loved it ! I wanted to re-watch it immediately.

Fantastic movie, Tarzan as he is in the books
As people who grew up watching Tarzan movies, watching the Tarzan TV series and reading both the original book and the comics my husband and I loved it! The actors were perfect for the roles given them, the scenery was beautiful and the CGI was great. Well done, cudos to all!

Don't waste your money seeing this movie. It was boring and stupid
Tarzan did not travel through the trees swinging on vines, and they don't exist as such anyway. He travelled through thick jungle/forest through the boughs and branches. And Opar? Inhabited by gnarled men and ruled by La, the gorgeous priestess of Opar, and the treasure was gold, not diamonds. And Samuel Jackson as a sidekick? Blah .... I have all 24 original volumes written by Mr. Burroughs. Not even close.
Should have been called The Legend of the Tar Sands.
