I really enjoyed this movie. Lots of action and suspense. Worth seeing.

Terrible story line, a waste of money.

This movie was entertaining but i expected more from the trailer. Also it was a little to heroish with a flawless main character.

I expected very little and was greatly surprised. Intelligent, gritty, fast paced. Even stayed true to the original. I highly recommend this film.

Typical shoot 'em up movie but there were some new and interesting ways to get the job done. Men will love the killing scenes and women will love looking at Jason Statham. I really enjoyed it!

it was an amazing thriller the way it all tied in in the end ... in some movies the ending leaves you hanging which is supposed to be a great way to end but always leaves you feeling unsatisfied.. this movie was far from that ... the ending tied in and made you feel complete with events that had occured ,,, effects were great ... story line was extremely interesing ... one of my favourite movies in a long time!

Typical Jason Statham action flick - similar character & acting level as he is in The Transporter & Crank, which were good action movies - some pretty cheesy lines, prerequisite sex scenes, lots of graphic violence. Can't say if the level of violence was increased 'cos Crank was pretty vulgar but I'd hate to think that slowly the industry is getting us desensitized to such acts. Will everything seem tame after a while?

As always Jason is great, this movie was superb.

If youre expecting anything like The Transporter or Crank Dont see this Movie, Action is Ok but takes way to long for anything exciting to happen, story is way to slow, I expected more from Jason Statham , he should stick to what he does best action scenes...Decent Movie, but save your money and wait for blu ray or dvd

Lots of action

I love this movie, heartpounding good, doesn't hurt that Jason Statham was in the movie.

The Mechanic is a whirlwind of action set against enough father/son, mentor/apprentice relationships to give Hamlet a headache. Simeon West's direction is so fast-paced somw viewers may require oxygen upon leaning the theater, and the film is beautifully - and frequently elegantly shot. Jason Statham works well with Ben foster and shows the range we've seen in only a few of his previous films [The Bank Job, for example]. Sadly, all the onscreen expertise is used to bolster a script that ends with a seemingly tacked-on, Hollywood ending and winds up being just another action/revenge flick. A real Guy Flick with all the stunts, shooting and things guys like. However, it did capture my interest and the acting and stunts are amazing. The title was very creative and the writers made you think.
