The Notebook

if you love the movie, you gotta see the novel...

The notebook is at look at the why love should be. I had to drag my husband to go see it with me. At times during the movie i turned to hm and sayed that is a chris manover. At times he turned to me and said that is exactly what you do. I thought we were unique about those types of things. Apparently we are doing everything right. I love my husband and it is the love of fairytales and legends. It was so nice to see a love story in touch with reality.

its sooo rare to find a love story so pure as this one....it only comes once in a while and is definitly worth watching over and over again

I thought there was something lacking in the movie, that may have had to do with how the director filmed the movie. I thought that certain scenes should have been elaborated on and that the young couple should have been featured more. Overall it was ok, nice love story, cute actors, but there was something missing. The previews raised my expectations of the movie but it didn`t deliver.

I thought the Notebook was the best romance i have ever seen, it was truly amazing and heart touching! I cried throughout the whole movie practically and it just really touched me.. i love movies like this and i really think they did a great movie everyone should at lease see it once.. i want to go see it again and again {TWO THUMBS UP}

I thought this movie was excellent. I loved how the flash backs occured and how it related to the present. Both Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams were great with their characters, along with the rest of the actors. They had great chemistry.

Excellent film! Gosling and McAdams are superb together and are headed for superstar-dom. I really enjoyed the entire movie. It was the ultimate love story.

If you enjoy the movie even a little bit, you have to read the book. The book is amazing and I recommend it to everyone!

Every single person in the movie theatre was moved to tears. It is such a wonderful story and I thought the actors played their roles wonderfully. You could feel how they felt in their expressions and movement, not just with what they were saying. Although some people would dub this movie a "chick flick", it is actually a very moving piece that is very honest and sweet, and that even the most cynical male could appreciate. I know.. I dragged him to it, and he was surprised.

I`ve been excited about seeing this movie since I first saw the preview for it when I went to see Mean Girls. That was a month and a half ago. I ordered "The Notebook" online (it was sold out at every bookstore) and I finally got it a week later. I cried through almost the entire thing. After reading the book, I couldn`t wait to see what the movie would be like. They were both equally touching, and brought out very unique characteristics in Noah and Allie. I can`t wait until it comes out on DVD! If anyone knows when that is, please email me!

Watching "The Making of The Notebook" on t.v. was a bad choice as there was no surprises when I watched the real movie (except the ending). In "The Making...", the host compared this movie to other great love story like Titanic...but I was very disappointed after watching the movie because The Notebook didn`t come close as being able to be compared to other great love story. I think I would enjoy the movie more if I was spoiled-free. Anyway.. I do love the movie very much, but watching "The Making..." has ruined everything. I thought that the movie The Notebook is by far the best love story I have evert seen.It`s has everything I ever wanted to see in a romance.I wish there were more movies like this out there.It was beautiful and moving and captured my soul.Rachel Mcdams is an amazing actress I am so gald she is Canadian same with Ryan.
