I loved it!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait for the DVD to come out so I can buy that too and watch it at home over and over....

non-stop action, a good movie but they dragged it out a little longer than necessary.

Excellent movie, well written, well executed. If you never had an interest in other countries and what conditions they exist in, you really do get a sense from this movie. Made me take a look at what else is going on in the world.

The movie was Great. i have been watching war movies for a long time and. this movie really made me feel about war and what happens during war missions.

It was a wicked movie, a must see film.Jerry Bruckheimer and Ridley Scott did an incredible job. One of the best war films ever made with non stop action.

If Ridley doesn`t pull off Best Director, which he has deserved so many times and was cheated of last year (Gladiator) because an American (Soderbergh) had two pictures in the runnings, there is something seriously wrong with the Academy. Think: how much DIRECTION do Maggie Smith or Helen Mirren need? Goodbye, Altman! Sorry, Peter Jackson, but your only other picture of note tanked, even if "Lord" wins Best Picture this year. And if 75% of what`s on-screen was created by a huge CGI team, you were more of a functionary, like an orchestra conductor (Altman too, now that I think of it) . I would have expected more from the cast and teh director. You want the REAL story read the book. The movie could have been so much better if they worked on the characters a little more instead of just jamming it full of action. The movie was about the soldiers so tell the audience about the soldiers and what they did and saw.

I wasn`t impressed. It didn`t move me. I was angry at myself for getting sucked into seeing another American war movie with the same troupe of characters and the same old cliches (We`re not leaving anyone behind, son). How much more enlightening and interesting it would be to see a movie which would help us understand the Somalia civil war from that country`s point of view. I`m so tired of the American viewpoint on everything.

Excellent war movie my favourite war movie was Full Metal Jacket know after seeing this movie it is my best movie. Seen four times and planning go see soon again. Cheers to Ridley Scott. You are awesome.

Awesome...gritty...very true to the real thing including the costuming. The battling scenes were bloody and gritty enough to make the point without going overboard.

Very intense. A must see. This is as close as it gets without coming in harms way yourself. The combat scenes were very realistic and gives the viewer an appreciation of what it`s all about. God bless our fighting men and women, past, present & future.
