Black Hawk Down

Great war flick...however more character follow-up required i.e. They started to introduce the hostage pilots family but there was no emotional homecoming.

it`s one of my favourite war movies aslong with Pearl Harbor. But it`s such a great movie to see it`s something that not just words can say!

Overrated flick! Pre- 9-11 there would be no hype about this movie.

I loved the show. I went to see it twice! Loved all the action and gave me an idea of the "stuff" that goes on in wars! I recommend seeing it! *****

This movie is definately not for the weak stomache, gore galore, the action was plentiful, and between war scenes, the scenery is breathtaking! Worth seeing. i rate this 3 1/2 stars

Good war flick!

Intense Flick !!! Loved it !! Had me fooled as if i almost really there !!! Josh Hartnett gave a great preformance !! Tom Sizemore was great, as was Ewan McGregor !! Best flick of the year !! I have a new higher respect for all Army/Rangers (etc) personel who edvote their lives for us all. And no the "muslums" where not portrayed badly, this was a true & actual event, with this movie coming out alot of programs have featured the Rangers & the opposite sides of this true story. But as Hollywood goes, maybe they may have (& usually do) tend to go off on there side (usa). It`s a known fact but as the book goes it`s based cleary on what the usa r

It was kind of stupid cuz it wasn`t true at all and ppl in the movie look stupid..the whole movie was stupid

Awesome MOvie.....but they didn`t clearly show how those 24 pakistanis died!!?....overall....5 stars!

It was an excellent war movie. Stayed true to the book.

The fact that the movie was done to a tee with the actual events that happened in Somolia, makes this movie one of the best movies of the year, and definately one of the best war movies ever.

i thought the movie was amazing...it did what it set out to do...it didn`t give you any answers...it made you think...i am currently reading the book and i can`t believe how accurately the story was depicted in the film...i can`t wait to go and see it again.

Although it had pretty good special effects...I thought that it was a boring movie with absolutely no plot. The only reason it attracted people, was with its goriness and blood and killing. I guess it was okay for people who like that kind of thing...but not for people who actually wanna watch a good movie

Good attention to detail (like everyone sweating buckets even when standing still). Lots of action, at times too much as you are left feeling tired from all the adrenaline pumping. Good movie, though, telling a story that teaches hard earned lessons.

Black hawk down is a well done movie. They portrayed the environment of the war very good and it has a coherant summarization of the horrid event. One thing that`s best distinguish this war movie to the others is that there are not love scene involved in the film. I think love characters generally contradicts the purpose of making a war movie that supposedly describes the altruism behaviours of out heroes whom sacrifices themselves to protect their nations.

It`s an amazing movie with great summarization ofthe event. And the actions are as thrilling as saving private ryan. I would9recommend it to everyone. It is the best of the year!!!

It was such an awesome movie, much better than that crappy remake of "Pearl Harbour"(too much Josh Hartnet in both, I can`t see what anybody else see`s in him...he`s so darn ugly)

i like the fighting. much better then pearl harbour. but the plot was unclear and characters need more developing

I really liked Black Hawk Down because there was no love story it was just about the war. I also liked it because there was alot of fighting and blood and guts. The only reason i saw it was because Josh Hartnett was in it that was the best part.

Overall it was quite good. Would have liked a little more character development. Quite intense in many parts. Scary to think what our world is becoming!

good movie

Amazing movie. I went with my grandpa and we both really enjoyed. It wasm uch more accurate than that disgrace of a movie Pearl Harbour. I would encourage everybody over the age of fifteen to go see it. Very realistic with the fatigue and night factors. Awesome! 5 stars!

This movie was by FAR much better than Pearl Harbour. IT was intensely realistic and very interesting. For those of you who complain that it is too gory, then watch Pearl Harbour. War is not glorious. It is bloody, limbs get blown off and people die. They don`t die with a neat little holes in their bodies. Thats reality and if you don`t like it, i`d like to recomend Snow Dogs to you.

It was all good except, the audience didn`t really get to know the characters and there should of been more of Josh Hartnett

Absolutely Riviting. As horrible as you can imagine from the portrayal in the film, I`m sure it was worse for those actually there. Another briliant Movie based on reality.

This film was not written or produced by SOMALIANS. Hollywood studios are AMERICAN. Theatres in north AMERICA are AMERICAN owned [for the most part] So why do you find it hard to believe BlackHawkDown doesn`t analyze the SOMALIAN point of view??? -- TOIKEOIKE
