Black Panther

Terrific. Great cast, good plot, crisp dialogue and a film of significant sociological importance. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm not a fan of this genre of movie.

Poor plot was only exceeded by the green screen cgi from the 80's. Good job!

Some of the actors were so wooden that kids in a high school play do better.

Quality has little to due with success in a market that's directed to children.

Everyone concurs that this is a two star movie like its rating here. I however disliked how slow it was for a movie such as this so give it a one.

All the adults have been lukewarm on the assessment of this movie.

I suffered to the end of this and would have liked my money refunded.

An awful experience.

This film proves that simply being a Marvel creation guarantees financial success. It doesn't have to be great or even good insofar as a plot is concerned. It merely has to have the cgi that's expected in all movies these days to keep the children amazed. In other words they just have to show up, break a few things, keep the dialogue dumbed down to early grade school, tell a joke at an inopportune time, and then bask in their own mediocrity while the media showers them with accolades.

Of the origin story movies, this is the weakest. The others established the characters and plot, but without dragging the movie down with verbal dribble that lasted much longer than it had to.

Black Panther was overshadowed by its own hype.

Ultimately disappointing with its underlying and unnecessary political commentary that has become prevalent in Hollywood movies recently.

I watched the movies last night. I have not written a review for a long time but i just wanted to help out my friends here who might be misguided by all the positive reviews here. I love all Marvel movies, they are not Oscar winners but my expectation is to be entertained and the most important ingredients have been Literally "out of this world" action! Outstanding effects Well placed humor ( one liners and all - Best example Thor - Ragnarok)--Overall entertainment This movie fails on all this. Its a dragged storyline, banal dialogues e.g. a fight scene, someone seems to be hurt and the dialogues go like "Hw are youuuu" "I am good, and you" "I am good too" "Let's go". Taken straight from a "Learn English conversation in 5 minutes" Chapter I. Okay special effects, nothing special, lets say 20 percent of normal Marvel extravaganzas. The story line is weak and goes round and round and round...No menacing bad guy. The potentially menacing one had a lesser role to play. Very stupid and misplaced one liners, completely out of the blues some of them. All in all I''m giving it a 1 because I had high expectations.

The Marvel Universe is the s#!t !!!! The movie was great! The costumes were excellent, the movie kept my full attention throughout, and the 12 members of my church from 7 to 54! It was a good movie for all!!
