Well, what can I say? It was interesting, I guess, and Daniel Craig was certainly commendable (minus the stupid model pout), but the whole film was completely uneven and quite predictable. The first chase was so long that all the action sequences that followed were boring. Honestly, the best part was the poker game. Still, worth seeing, although you may want to wait for the DVD. Kudos to Judi Dench for bringing some much-needed sparkle! - Atalanta

I found this one of the most enjoyable Bond movies in a very long time. Watch Danial Craig carefully on the screen and think Steve McQueen. The lack of gadgets from the Bond "Q" labs also made this movie enjoyable. The foot chase at the beginning of the movie was spectacular.

Not only a great (dare I say the best) Bond film, but a great film PERIOD. Craig is mindblowing as Bond, and Eva Green, well, nothing bad can be said about her. If you haven`t seen this film already, do it.

They have taken the "Super" out of SuperSpy and made him. Plain run of the mill.

Danial Craig just BECAME James Bond in this movie. Great performance. Great action. Great film.

it was good....but a little too much "poker playing"

Absolutely superb!!! Daniel Craig is the most real Interpretation of 007 ever. This film harkens back to the early Sean Connery films in it`s grittiness. No cheesy gadgets and a great departure from the formulaic approach of the past two decades. The only flaw, in my opinion, is a flagrant continuity flaw with Dame Judy Dench as "M". Any true Bond fan will tell you, she was introduced as a replacement in Pierce Brosnan`s debut film Goldeneye. Thus not the "M" who grants Bond 007 status.

This movie was really intense, partly humorous and had great acting! 5 * all the way and I <3 (loved) it. I recommend it all the way

A classic james bond, however some scenes lagged on a little to long and there was a bit of repetition in the scenes as well. It was nice to see the film done with less jazz like the others, which always kept you guessing and interested.

I have never like one single James Bond films. I`ve never liked any of the charactizations of Bond and was had no `wow` factor with the action or the women. So I went to this with no hope. I went because we have an I pick YOU pick movie agreement. However, to my surprise, I liked it. Daniel Craig played Bond as a human not as a slick superhero. It was more like just a great gritty spy movie rather than a formulaic Bond movie. Good on Craig for his performance and Good on the writers for staying away from the tired and true.

The best romp I`ve had in years!

The starting chase was 80% too long and too too absurd. I almost walked out in the 1/4 of the scene but I stayed hoping things would improve but there was little improvement. Obviously the producer was trying to use the far fetched unblievable acrobatics stunts used in the oriental movies (The dragon eg. fighters flying from tree to tree and fighting on tree branches). The previously James Bond movies at least some credibility in action moves. This producers episode was so atrocious it accpomlished what the what the bad guys could never do and that is the distruction of JAMES BOND movies. He had no finesse, no charm like the previous JA

Why is it that movie makers feel that they now have to make a one and a half hour story into a two + hour story. At least provide stuff with substance if you are rather than adding long boring scenes in order to surpass that two hour marker. Don`t get me wrong, it was okay and Daniel Craig is an awesome Bond but cut out the boring stuff and just tell the story!

Great pace and full of action... the love scenes were a little cheesey but I`d see it again!

There have been other "Bond`s", but there will only be one real Bond and that`s Daniel Craig. I`ll actually look forward to the next one!!!

I Loved this film...it gets back to what Fleming wanted in the character, sexy, sauve but yet still a little rough around the edges. Excellent acting and great directing. A must watch.

Seems like it could have been any spy movie. Interchangeable with Borne Identity. Nothing made it stand out as a "Bond" movie.

Didn`t like that the new Bond didn`t have more gadgets, I found it funny when Bond ran after a guy in one seen and ran up after him in a framed building. I would of thought Bond was a smart guy and that he would of waited for him at the bottom, I feel The Bourne Supremacy movie with Matt Damon had a lot more action. This Bond needs more action, like they needed to put plain trains and more automobile action stunts, I give this movie two stars, for such a long wait it came out to short. Save your money!!

Very classy and very well done action flick. Best Bond in the last 20 years and maybe ever.
