Godzilla was Awesome!!!
the godzilla was millions of year old and the bugs he fought got to his size in 15 years to many flaws in the story.
I almost fell a sleep waiting to see Godzilla, it took way too long to develop such a weak story. They way under utilized Bryan Cranston, he was in it for like 15 minutes and over utilized Kick-Ass! Olsen's character was a waste of screen time and did nothing really for the story. The worst was the way too short monster fight scenes. Save your money and watch it on the movie channel for free.
The kids loved it and I grew up watching the original cartoons back in the 80's. I hope they'll come back with a sequel as my son was already asking me if he can have his own BIG G to bring to school!
Amazing special effect , great story for a monster movie, great acting. The soundtrack was really good as well. A must watch!...dont expect Pacific Rim tho.
4 Problems with this movie. 1) Why does all action have to happen at night. I would guess 80% of this movie took place at night. WHY? 2) Characters nobody cared about. Just die already! 3)Do you really need 1 hour to develop this type of story? uninteresting scenes that added nothing to the story. 4)Missing funny people squashing scenes. You know, when some loud mouth bully gets stepped o or fried. Save your money and invest it.
I love it monster bash
Good movie. Go see it now, it was a good movie, I loved it, my kid love so much, every body go see it.
Lots of fun!
Great movie. ...really enjoyed it.
Ok.
it is what it is a monster movie , was expecting more.
Director Gareth Edwards deserves praise for taking Godzilla back to his goofy "suit-mation" roots. A fun ride for fans of pre-CG Godzilla.
I liked it.. effects were great.. although I found Godzilla's roar to be a little off.. looking forward to more.. Mothra and King Ghidorah would be great in future endeavours !!!
Good movie as a whole. Some early mystery, some great action at the end. Somewhat boring middle portion though.
Piece of shit movie and all the fake 5 stars. Seems like another Paranormal Activity movie.
It's an introduction to Godzilla movie - it closely follows the original but is much better. I loved it, but I am a fan of the beast. Look forward to Godzilla being pissed off in Return of Godzilla!
The special effects were great but the movie wasn't very moving. Brian Cranston relived his acting character from Breaking Bad; same old, same old. Lots of long silent gazes from the characters does mean good acting. I'd wait for the DVD to come out to view this one.
So fun. Still one Kickass Lizard!!
Awesome. Excellent movie. I saw the first Godzilla in 1964. I was upset with the 1998 version but this one rocks. If you are a fan of Godzilla, this movie is a must. The 2014 version is better, bigger and nastier thanks to the awesome CGI.
The effects were solid but the movie as a whole just didn't work...Seems as though the entire budget was spent on special effects and sets...The lead actor was horrible and the dynamics within the family just didn't work...poor B story!
I wanted to like it more than I did ever since I saw the first trailer about 5 months ago. It was a bit of a let-down but I can't figure out why. The FX were great and I really appreciated how Gareth Edwards actually allowed us to watch the fight scenes and take in the monsters (not like Transformers, where everything happens so fast you can barely follow it!). Waaaaaayyyy better than the 1998 piece of junk (I can't stand Roland Emerich's storytelling). Also liked how it wasn't packed with a bunch of quick-witted comments from the characters. It's a good summer movie, enjoy!
You know it's bad when you start looking at your watch after an hour. Not much Godzilla but these other two mutant/radiation eating monsters fighting Godzilla. Special effects are good but other than than it's pure Nonsense. I would rather watch this on TV but this is not iMax 3D material.
Awful! Waste of time! Falling asleep during it.
Godzilla is back. Great Movie!
The King of the Monsters is back, along with visually stunning destruction and solid characters.
Awesome monster movie. Godzilla is a total kickass
This movie was awesome. If you like Godzilla movies, you will love this one. Go see it on the big screen.
The beginning of the movie was very well started but story fell apart shortly after the first 20 minutes. Godzilla did look more realistic but the movie did not revolve around him. The movie was mostly about the two evil "parasites." Not enough Godzilla and cheesy story and bad guys.
entertaining, they kept a lot of the feel of the original ones to the story and settings.
Godzilla followed any other blockbuster formula, the story was simple, and quite predictable to the point of cheesy, but I didn't get bored, thanks to the spectacular visuals and sound. Yes, the sound played an important role in this movie, and it will probably get a nod at Oscar's time. See it on the big screen, with kids, mine loved it a lot, they would give 10/10 (boy 11 & girl 13)
Godzilla's back, (although this time he bears no resemblance to the monster from the previous film, a flaw the film never satisfactorily explains or overcomes), and the usual mayhem ensues. Worth a look even if you didn't enjoy the last one.
This movie trailer looks very good. I am a huge fan of Godzilla. I loved the first godzilla movie. But watching the trailer for this one gave me goosebumps. All i could say is wow...
I am a HUGE FAN of Kaiju and Pacifc rim - a twist with GODZILLA is an EPIC! CANNOT WAIT to see godzilla. Or maybe GODZILLA teaming up with JAEGERS to destroy all KAIJU Lifeforms..imagine that would be beyond EPIC!
I am a huge fan of the lovable guy courtesy of "Tokyo and Raymond Burr"That being said Mathew Broderick and 1998's Godzilla. What were they thinking when they made this piece of Double rotten tomatoes movie? I am really looking forward to seeing this this one-filmed on Van Isld I believe and back to the people who know Godzilla is not "A" sexual and he likes to play with large buildings. "GodZera" really
