Absolute crap. I wanted to punt his butt off of the building it was so long and drawn out. Too bad really...cut out the stupid insects and about 1 hour and it would have been a good movie.

OH MY GOD! This was an AMAZING MOVIE! GO SEE IT! GO! RIGHT NOW! If i had to i buy the tickets for you to be able to see this awsome movie! lol no, but it was an absolutely amazing movie! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I personally feel that Peter Jackson is one of the most gifted directors in hollywood. yes he does seem to go over the normal time limit of 2 1/2 hours, but come on! it`s peter jackson! this was so well done! I don`t think that any other director could have pulled this movie off, and made it as good as it is now. Andy Serkis was amazing as Kong. I enjoyed the "touching moments" between Kong and the girl, and the ending, but that`s about it. Those scenes were very well done and just beautifully shot. I think if they cut out most of the action sequences it would have been a great movie. Almost everything that happened on the island was boring and drawn-out. Apparantly those were supposed to be the exciting parts? Yawn.

I thought it was one of the best movies i have ever seen. Peter Jackson is the Merlin of movie making and not just for his job with King Kong, but also for superb job he did on The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The original movie by Marian Cooper was excellent, but is kind of dated. Peter made the kind of King Kong that would be appropriately apreciated presently. The acting was amazing and it was the perfect choice of actors. Naomi and Adrien did a fantastic job. The script was very well done.

Great movie, worth of watching.

- Not sure if Jack Black`s character totally worked, and the friend I saw it with thought the "running with dinosaurs" scene was over the top, but other than those points - very well done. A fairly "short" 3-hour-plus film, quite compelling and highly entertaining.

It was awesome! Slightly too long, but the special effects were almost perfect and the story was great. It was tragic, and the deaths of many crew members actually got to my heart. It was definitely one of the best films ever made.

Excellent movie.............I cried three times though out the movie. The sences between King Kong and the Dinosaurs were amazing. They were a lot better then Jurassic Park.............

Great adventure, emotional rollercoaster. Overall a very good movie. Special effects weren`t the best. Jackson should`ve gotten ILM to do it.

Awesome movie! Seen it 5 times! Love it! and i love Jamie bell! such a hottie! the ape looks real!!! omg lol! Jack black did an awesome job and so did adrien and naiomi, but my fav is still Jamie Bell as Jimmy

Fun movie. Finally the ape looks like an ape. Worth seeing on the big screen.

Pretty good remake, although the ending did tend to drag on a bit. Otherwise, I enjoyed it ;)

I thought it was one of the best movies made since titanic. it is a shame that it did not catch on as I expected it would. I am sure Peter Jackson feels the same way. I guess the timing was not right. Maybe nextime.

Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find that this newest edition (2005) of King Kong proved to be the most thrilling and entertaining of the three films done thus far on the subject. ... Naomi Watts proved herself worthy to inheirate the character name of Miss Ann Darrow for the remainder of her lifetime. ... This is certainly one of the very few times in motion picture history that a remake equals or surpasses the original production.

The show was adventure at its finest

I like these type of movies on big screen, however it was way to long and over rated, or was it over rated? Love the Natives and spider scence. Plus they were very smart not to pick a well know Hollywood actress, don`t know her name that played the women, but she did a fantastic job..

I love "long" movies so you can`t say I just have no attention span when I say that King Kong was just way too long for what was in the movie. I mean, when you think about it, not much happened. And it took over 3 hours to do it all. I liked the beginning, but when they got to the island it kind of fell apart. But then when they got back it got good again. Basically, I didn`t like any of the extremely long "exciting" parts. Boring and drawn-out.

King Kong is one movie that I will never forget. It took me on an emotional roller coaster that never slowed down once so ever. The mo-vie showed me that their is always one film in that will stay with forever and ever.
