Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

I enjoyed this movie. I know was not real but wow what an adventure that started in the 70s. Oh yes. Many wonderful memories. I introduced my son to Star Wars when he was 7 years old as my dad did to me when I was 8 years old. Loved all the stories except the Phantom and the precios Star Wars movie. Lol

Definitely not as bad as the Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. I actually paid attention during this one.

I have never posted a review but felt compelled to do so. In my early 50's, grew up with Star Wars. I really liked the film. I think the acting by Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley was fantastic. Action and special effects incredible. Those complaining, sure you are entitled to your opinion. My take is the story needed to end. JJ is a crowd pleaser and I believe did his best to do so. Sure some acting wasn't great, we could have done without one or 2 characters, but it is a MOVIE. It's not real, lol. It is there as an escape, to entertain. It did it for me. I give it 4 stars as for me Empire is probably the only 5/5. A solid conclusion to a wonderful story. See it for yourself and let it simply entertain you. Don't get caught up in the, why did that happen, how did they do that, and how come …. Just enjoy it. Thank you JJ. Thank you Star Wars!!!

Interesting movie and no boring at all. Perfect.

It wasn't the worst star wars movie but the drama and bad acting nearly made me walk out on this one! The end battle was the only star I'll give this one!

We loved this movie.

Loved it less than the original SW#1 but overall it delivered. Would love to see the saga continue with different actors and fresher storylines. Sound effects are entirely too loud for those with sensitive eardrums.

Very much enjoyed the final episode - this is how to end an epic series! I still remember the first star wars in 1977 and although I am sad to see it go they did the story justice with a great ending.

A true dumster fire of a movie with an incredibly silly plot. The emperor was NOT really killed from the original triology? God awful movie, save yourself the time which you will NEVER get back!

Wonderful movie. Acting was superb. The chemistry between the characters were on mark, as were the battle scenes, the special effects and the music. The plot outline may have been rushed and no the ending will not satisfy everyone, but get over it. Overall, well done JJ!!!

the trouble wi long drawn out epics is that the fans want them to end exactly as they wish, Everyone has a theory (see Game of Thrones) and a large number will be disappointed - this tries to tie-up loose ends of a dozen different writers over decades.

Glad JJ directed this movie. The Saga needed an epic ending.

Oscar Isaac is a fantastic actor, but he was miscast as Po Dameron(sp?). Other than that, this was a good movie with emotion. I’m not sure what people were expecting in regard to the bad reviews.

I loved the original 70's trilogy, the prequels not so much and episode 7 and 8 forgettable. But this one actually had a smidgen of emotion towards the characters. I actually enjoyed the conclusion of the past 40 plus years. Judge for yourself. I like being entertained, not going to a movie theater for a life changing screening.

A story from a galaxy far far away from the 70s were people still dreaming. When people were more tolerant and less snowflakes like now. Glad this story started long time ago and never died.

The two suns was a beautiful scene. Nice ending like a nostalgic memory from The New Hope. The director nailed perfectly the ending.

Yet another implausible storyline in the Star Wars franchise. Why even bother with watching the Mandalorian? You know the Mandalorian is going to end on a stupid note as it is part of the Star Wars movie universe.

Not a follower of Starwars so for me the movie was just soso the lines and acting was poor in the beginning of the movie after that i just didnt notice so much Hope this is the end

it renders the first 6 movies meaningless, the only reason I am giving it 1 star is because there is no option for zero stars.

Only Phantom menace is worse than this movie. It gets 1 star for the 2020 level special effects. Otherwise, it renders the first 6 movies meaningless and Luke, Han, Leia gave their lives for nothing. It’s so ridiculous that Rey is a Jedi Master after 3 weeks of force awareness. Adam drivers (Kylo)acting ALMOST as bad as H. Christensen. Victor Frankenstein did a better corpse revival. Dull and unimaginative story that puts a sad end to a great era of star wars.
