Superman Returns

I thought the movie was good with great effects.

The movie was very exciting, Brandon Routh did a fantastic job portraying Superman. Fantastic movie !!!

It was just okay!

I think Christopher Reeve would have been proud of Brandon Routh. He did an excellent job as a "bumbling reporter" and definately looked like a superman. I give this movie a 4 star, because I thought there would be a little more action with Lex Luthor.

Good movie, the acting was very good overall. Kevin Spacey is always good. Would have liked the movie to have little more action in it, but overall I was happy woth the storyline.

I thought that Christopher Reeve was the best Superman of all!

This movie was pg--->> pretty good....lol. anyways it wasn`t as good as pirates of the caribbean 2 but it was like right there with it. i loved it!!

Perfect storyline to literally bring new blood to the Superman genre.

this movie rocked. brought my 9 yrold and he loved it as well. good for the whole family.

solid story for a movie that had so much hype to it. A little more action would have been nice but overall I`d say superman is a franchise that`s ready to take flight again. Good job.

Nothing special, everything`s been done before, like all the rest of those super heroes movies.

This movie was kinda of boring the best scene was with airplane, but the CG effects where quite evident in the movie, they should have tried to make it more realistic.

great movie for the whole family

I sat in awe and watched a movie that brought back usage of a movie more than 20 yrs old. I felt like a child again with just as much excitement watching superman fly. Can not wait till part 2. Only thing that spoiled the movie was the poor choice in casting the character Lois such a great woman but was poorly protrayed. Other wise stellar cast and crew on this one.

Superman`s sometimes `Fatherly, God-like` moments and statements gave us pause. Otherwise, an all-round enjoyable summer movie.

I loved the movie!! I liked that there was lots of action parts but also that it was a love story. I hope they make a part 2, b/c I will be the first in line!!

I thought the guy was great playing superman,[ GREAT JOB]I will bye the dvd and watch it over & over.Good story line.

It was filled with action and better yet, a deeply emotional story. Instant DVD "must have".

this movie connects so well with the original superman movies. for the ppl who think this was a ramake, this is actually a continuation of the 4th superman movie. Brandon Routh fits the role of superman very well. cant wait till the sequal.

A wonderful combination of honouring the Christopher Reeve movies as well as re-introducing this much loved character. I don`t believe that any director could have done this better than Bryan Singer.

Not being familiar with the Superman character or any of the old Superman movies, I didn`t know what to expect, but I was pleased with the movie and would like to add it to my collection of superhero movies. It was a bit long, but overall well done. And Brandon Routh`s looks don`t hurt anything either.

refreshing to see it on the big screen.

I thought it was the best summer movie of 2006, it wasn`t guite as great as the Late Christopher Reeves` movies but it is still SUPERMAN. Brandon Routh was excellent, surprising he looked and sound like CR. Kate (Lois Lane) was even good. I can not wait for the next Superman.

There`s a reason why so many liked the movies. It`s this summers "must see". Looks like we have a new Superman in town

There was nothing new in the movie. Very predictable and with poor acting.

Terrific movie.I just saw it again for the second time. Great casting. I was sitting on the edge of my seat. A summer must see for the entire family.

it was nice to see a movie that was story driven - not all about special effects

it could have stuck more to the comic book. some movies need to stick to the original script or story line. it`s either that or change the whole thing and start a new story line. go in a new direction.

While this is a very well made movie I would say it was almost and hour too long, the movie focuses alot on the surrounding characters and not really on Superman. In my opinion the movie is primarily based on Lex Luthor and Lois Lane while that is not a bad thing it does pose a problem to comic book fans. Superman does not have a villian he can "slug it out with" therefore there is not much action. The movie focus`s on plot instead and leaves us wanting more action.

It was truly a great movie brandon routh was brillant and kevin spacey was the best Lex Luther. this movie has the best graphics and wonderful acting and has brought back Superman in more of a realistic, more fun and in a cooler way.

It was really nice to see it. The structure of the story was good.

Great, finally brought Superman back to form rightfully making a sequal for Superman 2 so throw out Superman 3 & 4. Really just forget they ever existed.

The J-man should not have to point out the differences and the producer would do well to stay away from religious allusions. Well, perhaps Superman well equipped could accomplish a lot. Perhaps.
