horrible acting, horrible plot, horrible special fx, christian Bale needs to go back to doing more dramas, give up action flicks for a while - puh-lez

I don't understand how almost half of the viewers can give this movie 5 stars... I am a Terminator fan but only of the first two and the second one being #1 on my list.

Terminator Salvation had amazing visual effects but horrible storyline. The actor who played Kyle Reese portrayed him perfectly! I enjoyed T3 as much as the others but this one is not even close to the rest. Also i don't understand having the "so important" John Connor running around like a one man army...shouldn't he be protected??? Terminator Franchise...TERMINATED!!!

I didn't think it was possible to make a Terminator movie worse then "Rise of the Machines", but McG has done it. "Terminator Salvation" is possibly the worst movie of the year!

Termimator Salvation. Many scenes were copied from other movies. For example Transformers, Bourne, X-Men and I,Robot P.S. Be more original.

Every opportunity to make a good movie out of this... and they chose not to. No real "war" scenes, a love story that develops in the first 5 minutes of meeting the other character, Christian Bale talking like he's in another batman movie, a prostetic, corny and forced Arnold appearance, ZERO character development except for the freaking CYBORG... I could go on. I would have rather have seen Molly and Me than this worthless sequel.

this movie was so good. action packed. i went with my husband and brother to watch it and was hooked with all the explosions and effects. i didnt expect to see arnold in it but it made it better. he looked fake but oh well. 2 thumbs up!!!!

As bad as anything I've seen all year. The entire audience burst into laughter at the end, as the movie went from bad to worse. R.I.P Terminator franchise. Zero stars.

I've never seen any of the previous Terminator movies but I thought this was really good. Action packed from start to finish. Although, I personally thought the ending was kinda weak but aside from that I really enjoyed it. 4 Stars.

really good movie, much better then t3. bale did a great job and so did worthington. the only down side to the movie must of been when the animated arnold came on screen, besides that it was amazing. great film

I liked the movie it was fresh and very good visually. I think the actors did a great job. The production crew did great. T4 was what this franchise needed. P.S - the plotline is Marcus and John and how they come to work together. its there.

Very poor script, I saw zero emotion from bale, and the plot was pathetically simple, did not expand any new concept of the original T1 and T2, the scenery looked more like Iraq then it did the future, the graphics were alright but all based around nothing but explosions, so many stupid pointless explosions it just gave me one big headache at the end, it was cheesy as it comes, poor performances from every "actor", nothing about this film was moving or intriguing let alone original, I'm very disappointed, don't see this movie unless you want to see non-stop completely unrealistic hero moments with explosions for 2 hours straight go see Star Trek, and if you've already seen it, go see it a

Good action, but that's it. Some really cheesy lines. I think this movie should have been a continuation of the Terminator story, not just a vehicle for nostalgic moments from the previous movies. Don't see it.

This movie was completely predictable; I couldn't wait to get out of the theatre. Rent the DVD/Blu Ray!!!!!

A solid action flick. Definitely way better than Terminator 3.

Good movie, Bale does a good job as Connor, no time travel and we see sweet shots of the T-800. T2 still the best one, then the original Terminator then this one. Lot better than T3 but short of T2 and T.

I guess you could say that christian bale tried to "TERMINATE" the terminator franchise, with his HORRIBLE performance. But its not all his fault. The Cgi was nothing to be proud of and the story sucked. Thankfully, The Terminator franchise is too awsome to be botherd with this ball of cheese.

Better than the 3rd. Not on the same level as the 1st and 2nd one's. The movie stands on it's own dimension.

The only time I ever want to see humans (or alike) fighting against machines should either be a Jedi fighting droids in STAR WARS, or when humans are plugged into The MATRIX. What a total disgrace to the Terminator franchise... I'll give you some salvation - Don't watch this movie!!

All of you that post negatively about the movie had some pretty bad english. So, if you speak english you'll love the movie. If you don't you'll fall under the moron category. Enjoy.

good action, no plot...disappointing

Average, could of been wayyy better the trailer with NIN song made the movie look AMAZING! it had great special effects and good action however the plot was offbeat, some REALLY cheesy moments and plain bad acting but still a good summer movie 3.5/5

Action-packed movie.! Christian Bale did a splendid portrayal of John Connor. Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright stole the show. I sure we'll see him in more productions as he's the new breed of hunck and machoness. Aton Yelchin as young Kyle Reese was the icing on the cake. The cameo "appearance" by Arnold Schwarzenegger is a delight & surprise. GREAT !

while not as good as the first 2 movies, it is an improvement over the 3rd in the franchise. the film had a fair ammount of action, while parts were a bit cheezy, it was for the most part and enjoyable film, sam worthington and christian bale were perfectly cast in thier respective roles.

Bale Sucks.... he ruined batman and now he runed Terminator. No talent worthless bum. Get some one with real talent. Or better yet lets ruin future movies... let's make him captain america ruin that movie from the start. To bad he is to old and late to play harry potter. Can't play wolverine since they got some one with true talent playing it. How about spider man? don't think he could make the role of peter any worst.

WORST MOVIE EVER.

I liked the special effects. The highway chase scene with the motorcycle units was especially entertaining. Marcus Wright was a welcome addition, but the fight sequence with the T800 - model 101 character implied he should have had much less problems fighting the thugs to protect Blair. The Marcus / Blair escape scene seemed to be all over the place and was tough to follow. Even though I had already seen what the T800 could do it was still an edge of the seat battle with John and Marcus. I go to see movies to be entertained. I was entertained. ThanX.
