great concept!

it starts off interesting then it just gets and then just plain cheesy. this is a rent it movie! the ending is stupid. the whole story was just cheesy.

if you think this movie is stupid,go buy a ticket for titanic 3d or some recycled garbage romance movie. this is an original idea which is extremly refreshing for horror fans. loved it!

this movie was beyond stupid. no plot. just blood and gore if you want to see random creatures killing people and blood all over the screen watch this. otherwise save your money and time. stupid movie. worst i've ever seen.

i liked it. it reminded me of south park's "imaginationland" trilogy in several ways but with 5 young adults instead of the 5 little kids in the cartoon.

i really had high hopes for this movie but it was a let down. don't waste your money it didn't make any sense ridiculous story.

i'm not one to rate a 'tech-gory-horror' movie high, but this one well deserves the 5/5 folks are giving it. it's bizarre, funny, gruesome, unexpected, and it keeps you pondering what's it all about... and interested in whether you can figure out the 'whys and wherefores' of the plot. even the supposed survivors are unlikely and unexpected. enjoyed it as it was quite different and worth the see. it's almost like all the nightmares of fantasy-monster-horrors mixed in with the twilight zone combined.

6 stars out of five for cabin in the woods. it was absolutely fantastic, and is a movie you want to watch over and over. and you will also see something different each time you do.

great, subversive, radically original movie that disguises itself as a hugely cliched one, at least at first. it's probably obvious from the ads that this isn't just going to be about teenagers being killed in the woods, but you have no idea how crazy it gets by the end. it's actually more of a comedy than a horror movie. it's also kind of funny that one of the movie's messages is that horror audiences hate anything different, and want basically the same old repetitive crap...and the movie's detractors are proving that true.

it was good movie but mom didn't like it because she only like the horror movies that r either based on a true story or the ghost story/hunted house kind.

great movie! i was thinking it would be a boring slasher flick but i was pleasantly surprised. sort of a cross between evil dead and 13 ghosts. nice to hear some vintage nin in the soundtrack too.

this was not the movie i was expecting. it was great in a joss whedon way. i can't tell you about the movie, i can only suggest having faith in joss whedon the story teller and his past projects. you will not be disappointed. have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so what critics are giving this film positive ratings? a messy disjointed film that has you looking at your watch several times. (okay some scenes in the last half hour are off the wall).. but by then it’s changed to a different type of movie.. sort of a horror movie that changes to a scene from men in black! 2 stars! & i’m being kind!

i enjoy a good thriller but i really didn't enjoy this movie. it did have me jumping out of my seat but i think i should have stayed out of that seat!

this was the worst movie i have seen in a long time. the plot was non existant, the concept was not bad but poorly executed, the acting was terrible and the dialogue seemed written by a 14 year old who found all his own jokes funny. i really really cannot emphasize how irritated i was that i spent money on this film.

i've waited so long to see this, and it wasn't a disappointment. hilarious dialogue, and an awesome story to flip the genre on its head. great work to all involved!

really good movie if you like this genre

it's called watching it with free passes to a "screener"..anyways, saw the movie last night before it comes out today and it was sort of an original movie, cube-esque like. some jumps here and there and the plot was def original.

how would you know - the movie is not even out yet!

I'm not a fan of horror movies, but this movie is worth watching!
